Course Curriculum Overview

There are two exams in every semester, mid semester examinations and end semester examinations. Assignment and class test depends on the subject teacher. This university affiliated to Kerala University and hence the syllabus strictly according to the guidelines.syllabus is good and consists of both practicals and theory.

Placement Experience

Placement of this college decent. Every year they bring companies for campus placement drives many students get job offers from college placement drives. Some student get internship from college but mostly get the internship from outside.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for the first year is around 1 lakh rupees and from 2nd year it is around 80000. So total five year of this course will cost you 4.3 lacs approx. Compare to other institutes fees for my course is not very high and I would say it is economical.

Fees and Financial Aid

Colleges approved by AICTE and has A grade. So one will not find it difficult to apply for loan from majority of banks. If you are eligible you can also apply for scholarship under NSP or you can also apply scholarships under state government schemes.

Campus Life

Campus is big and the infrastructure of the institute is good. There is ample amount of greenery in the campus. Labs and other facilities up to date and also well maintained. The overall atmosphere of the college is good and student here are also good in nature. Senior are helpful in nature and gender ratio is ok.

Admission

I choose this college because this was the best college I was getting from my rank obtained in KEAM. I cleared the cutoff for this college in second round.Admission here are given on the basis of their rank of obtained in either KEAM(Kerala engineering architecture medical entrance test) or NATA.

Faculty

Faculty of this college is good they are experienced and have a good command on their respective fields. Some teachers are very passionate about their subjects and you will feel good while studying from them. Teachers are good in nature and are happy to to solve your any query or doubt.

life in a campus

Likes

having a best campus life there, high-quality programs are providing
high-quality education, and giving more opportunities to develop our skills
full green campus giving peacefull evinornment

Dislikes

faculties make semester more difficult by giving projects that they dont even have an idea about
some of the faculties have some passuality
strong management and all, but sometimes they are not approachable

we needed to attend a internship program of 100 days in semester 7,thats actually helps to have a real life experience and also get a training before we graduate .also now in semester 9 we need to attend a spetial caurse ,that we can choose based on our intrest , which helps to develop our skills and will have a estra cerfication also.

Number of students in one class is 40.There is only ome batch
canteen facility is needs to be improved
College maintains a healthy environment but infrastructure is average

In first year it is more practical works as basic design includes modeling, paper works, sketching etc...helps to development conceptual, understanding skills. From 4th semester onwards digital works starts. For that provide a class period of cad,revit softwares etc

Admission:

The admission process of the college was help on the basis of test in which I appeared. The tests were KEAM and NATA. Online forms come every year through which a student got the chance to take admission in such a reputed college.

Admission:

Selection to B.Arch programme is based purely on merit. Selection will be done by SSA giving due weightage to the marks obtained in 10+2 examination and the NATA score. Merit is the only criterion for selection.

Remarks:

The College and College hostel won't let them use phones. Even though phones are allowed in hostels as per government rule. The College is a little strict and still treats us like school students. But the College is free in some terms but controlled a lot.

My college is not so good to live a life in college. It is okay just for study and not for any extra curricular activities so i dont actually prefer my college for a creative student who wants to explore.

THE ACCURATE TRUTH

I was alloted this college on the 2nd allotment of Keam merit allotment.My first Allotment was at palakad global college.It was lacking facilities and amenities.Dc School of architecture and Design offers better facilities than the previous one.so i opted for this college. This college on the basis of academics with other college is more free and tensionless.But lacks exposure to outside. My first priority was CAT trivandrum. But cluld not make it in merit seat as it got filled fast.The next option was to join there on management seat which was nor financially lossible for me.So I went ahead with DC School of Architecture and Design.
