Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

There are four University exams . In 1st year physiology biochemistry ,anatomy in second year and third and final year clinical subjects other than University exam. There are Prelim exams and also mid term exams. Passing rate is about 70 to 80 %. You have to give three exam in first year ,4 in 2nd year ,3 in 3rd year and 9 final year.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is no placement as it's a medical college, and according to DCI, as doctors you donot have a placement according to the medical board. However the college provides good internships with a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month for one year. We can also work as assistants and prepare for PG side by side. The internship experience is great and we get hands on experience on every aspect and are provided with the required tools and technology too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government institution fees structure is completely feasible for all students. Its not very expensive and is according to the reservations. Also some scholarships are alloted to the deserving students. The fees per year is Rs Rs 30,000.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is very good. Playground is very large but not well maintained and there is swimming pool also. Male to female ratio is almost equal. Extra curricular activities are present but they are not well funded. Playground is largest amongst all medical college in India.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni of this college is very good and seniors are also very Cooperative and helpful. You can easily contact him for guidance. They will always go out of their way to help you in times of need and are very supportive.

Admission

I got admission in to the college through my NEET score. NEET is conducted in the month of may and the results are out by mid june. I scored 560 in NEET and applied for counseling process. Then I got this college in my counseling and went ahead for the admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is very dedicated and hardworking. They work day and night to provide notes to the students, give proper description of the basic concepts and also clear the doubts of the students. They are very helpful and cooperative.

You get very natural environment in and around the college campus. College is situated in hilly area so greenery is all around. No pollution around college. As the college is 7-8 km away from main city, there is lack of basic needs around college. We have to go to city for our needs.
