My Review

Management lags though in taking decisions. Last month fire broke out in my hostel and the fire team was nowhere to see. I was sleeping in my friends room because od that for 2 weeks. And the later we were told to shift our rooms to other hostels on a very short notice.

I would say that the curriculum is that up to the mark. The curriculum is more into theory work and less of practical knowledge of the industry. I think that the curriculum is outdated and needs to be updated. And most of the faculty members don't have enough experience of teaching. At times the faculty cannot even answer to the questions asked by the students due to lack of knowledge. There was only one industrial visit to the airport in these two years of my coarse. This coarse is definitely not research driven. The university will make sure that you get placed in any company. They just want to maintain a good record of placements. Exams are really hopeless. There's no point of studying and answering the papers. You just write anything and come in the papers and you'll get good marks(just making sure that you don't leave the answer sheet blank).

University provides placements to most of the students. Companies that visit the campus are not that great and offer a very low package. And these are open campus placements. Placements are mostly group discussion and interview driven. The university provides lectures on soft skills so that we can communicate properly with people. But its more of theory.

There is a single big event in the institute known as UTSAV, held in April the birth month of the founding father of institute, Shri C.U.Shah. It consists of Sports events, cultural events and Art events. Each event has 100 points and the batch with highest points wins the UTSAV cup.

The is feasible enough to be payed by the middle class students. The fees can be submitted online or deposited in the university. fees are accepted in the block 3 of the university campus. The offline option for fee payments can be done using debit card credit card or cash. You have to pay Rs 10000 in advance to secure your admission. The university provides transparency in the fee breakdown.

I did not available any scholarship or loan. Though the university provides scholarships to students have army background, sc and st and aslo if you answer the university entrance exam and get above a certain percentage you can get some percentage of your fees reduced. Mostly the scholarship provides around 10-30% off.

Gender ratio in university is unbalanced. Males are more. Student parties are not allowed. There's students from all over India and some foreign countries. There are cultural societies established in the campus. There no discrimination of any type in the campus. It is against the university policy and those who violence it are punished by charging heavy fines and even suspension. I made many friends belonging to various religions, ethnicity and countries. Students are safe inside the campus for sure.

The hostel rooms have a moderate old infrastructure. The rooms are big in size with two tube lights and a single fan for three person. The institute provides a single size bed, a chair, a table, and a cupboard for one person. PG infrastructure is good but fees are double than hostel. Average rental in PG is 100000 per annum.

I live with seniors in the hostel and they are very kind and helpful. Always ready to help. They interact humbly with the juniors. Seniors always give advises related to studies and how we should approach the curriculum. All the seniors that I have interacted with were are kind and humble enough.

First give 11 th and 12 th exam after which you give GUJCET or through Neet UG exam, be present at gandhinagar with valid documents and through merit list by Gujarat Government, select college when your merit number comes from various options of medical colleges.

All faculty are highly qualified either with a degree of PHd or M.D. in every subject that is either they have a degree through B.Sc. then M.Sc. in the subject or they become MBBS then M.D. in the subject. They take deep interest in the students education and overall moral development.
