Remarks

College management was very harsh for the students. They were very much focused on a discipline like attending the class daily and no bunking. Moreover attending every class was important, students were not allowed to stay in the hostel during college hours. The electricity supply was cut during college hours to make sure no one stayed on the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is sufficiently good especially for those who want to crack Engineering Services examination because the syllabus is sufficient enough to crack the exam. Industry-related knowledge was not imparted to a great extent but students could get placed. Moreover, industrial visits were organized for 3rd-year students discipline was more than required.

Placement Experience

3

The placement was average, It was good for students of CS and IT. But when it came core branches like Mechanical, Electronic and Electrical hardly 1 or 2 companies visited the campus. Visiting companies were TCS, Travesca, BL Agro, etc.

College Events

3.5

Aamod- Sports fest where colleges from all over UTTAR PRADESH were invited. It was held for 2 days and many indoor and outdoor sports were played. It was a state-level fest. Zest - It was also a 2-day event where a lot of programs were held like singing, dancing, street play, etc. Techvyom - It was also a 2-day technical event where different departments of the college conducted technical events like a catapult, robowar, roborace, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

My program fee was about 1.3 LPA. Mode of payment was online, cash, and Demand Draft. There were some other fees also like semester exam fees, mobile call charges, etc. The college did provide the details of the college fee for all the activities like the tuition fee, placement charge, industrial visit charges, lab charges, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offered scholarships for students who scored more than 75%. 75 to 80 % - 20000 Rs 80 to 85 % - 25000 Rs 85 to 86%- 30000 Rs More than 86%, students would get money equal to their percentage scored like for 87 % a student would get Rs 87000.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio was less for mechanical and electrical engineering students. It was about 10:1 as there were hardly any girls in the core branches of engineering. But for other branches like Computer science, Information Technology, Electronic engineering had a gender ratio of about 1:1.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I had opted for a hostel. Hostel rooms are big enough for a single person. Moreover, cleaning was done by some appointed person who was responsible for cleaning rooms and bathrooms. In sharing also the rooms were sufficient enough for 2 or 3 people. The hostel had the facility of a water cooler also.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college seniors were good, they have helped us in many ways. They made is experience various new things.

Admission

I got into the college as a result of counseling on the basis of the exam conducted by UPSEE. Firstly we had to lock choices on the basis of the rank obtained in the exam. after we were allotted the seat we had to pay some amount to confirm the seat. Afterward, I had to go to college and confirm my admission and pay the remaining fees. The exam was conducted in the month of April and counseling started in the month of June. I went to the college in July end to join.

Faculty

3

We used to have 7 lectures daily including labs and library. The average age for teachers was about 25 and the qualification required was M.Tech. Some teachers were really good but some were not that good enough because sometimes they would not the subject of their expertise to teach.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
