Remarks

The college infrastructure is very disappointing. The buildings are at the verge of collapsing. There is not enough space to breathe free. The bench and dusk are in shortage and are of bad quality

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The teaching process is very much similar to that in the high school and higher secondary sections. We are almost spoon fed. Moreover the government provides heavy study time and tight schedules. This schedule is so unscientific that the only motto of the teachers and college is to finish all the syllabus as fast as they can and thereby save themselves. It is we the students who are the victims of all these activities that only the brilliant students understand whatvthe teachers taught and all othees couldn't even understand anything they are teaching without any difference in the subject whether it be mathematics or professional skills. The exams are conducted only to prove that it is done by the college to the government authorities. They don't even want to know about the problems of the students.

Placement Experience

2.5

It is said that more than 100 companies visited our college as part of the placement. Amazon Siemens, cognizant, tata consultancy, red bus,Infosys, are a few companies among others. The students are made to register their names and details on the data sheets as part of the internship programs but the college or its authorities never head into providing internships to the students. The students have to find and participate in them as their own. If the college os satisfied they will grand study leaves or else the attendance will also be withheld.

College Events

0.5

Our college owns a very small ground area and so there is only a few programs held here EXCEL is the tech fest held in our college. The financilal supports are very poor from the college they always ask the students to spend their own money without any hesitation. The other main events are the arts and sports which is held after the classes are over that is from 4:30 pm and extra 2 days are given forthe same. We host several talk shows and hackathons but they are not so popular or user friendly and for this reason the number of participations are a very few. The seniors always compel the juniors to attend the same to show the guests that they have some masses infront of them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee for state list is 35000 rs and additional college charges which is about 10000 to 20000 extra for the management seats the course fee is 65000 and extra charges of 10000 to 15000 The NRI quota have a fee of 140000 per year. Plus additional charges ranging 10000 to 15000 the college don't provide any transparency in the fee-breakdown

Fees and Financial Aid

No i did not opt for any scholarships since there were no scholarships for children of government servants

Campus Life

0.5

The campus here is very much disgusting that there is no enough place to occupy the whole students in the college. The college building is smaller than my school. The classes are very dark and we had painted and cleaned it spending from our pockets. We did it as part of the NBA visit. They were verg dissappointed in granding us their approval seeing the disgusting college building that they even asked some students how they were surviving here. There are almost an equal number of girls and boys. The labs here does not have enough instruments and machines the labs are poorly maintained.

Hostel Facilities

1

Yes but i was disqualified since the college hostel hosted only a very limited number of seats and it was so untidy to lead our daily life. The seats were provided to students who came from far away places. Therefore i took a pg the food there is utterly disappointing and disgusting but they are happy to ask us the burdensome hostel fee without any hesitation. For thrm it is always a business and there is no humanity in between. The average hostel fee is about 80000 rupees

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful. They help our college in bringing several companies to our college for placements.l

Admission

I got admission in the college by means of entrance exam held by the educational department of government of kerala. Tyen the candidates were given time to choose the priority list of the colleges they wish to pursue their course and should select the course. There are three types of admission categories mainly 1. Merrit 2. Management 3. NRI quota

Faculty

1

The faculty is below average if i am asked to judge them. They have only a single moto to finish their job. They never consider the feelings and problems of the students. They are teaching based on the syllabus and nothing more or less. There are no industry-experience or any other extra campus teaching processes done here. The facualty here are under IHRD and there are both permanent and temporary staffs. Most of the teachers are above 50 years old. They are of very little knowledge about the current day learning and teaching methods and alwaya think about finishing the text books.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is excellent because it contains so many informative ideas and the practical lab is the best. I chose this course to get an idea about the civil engineering field and i m satisfied with it. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful. The student ratio is very low. Faculties at our college are MTech holders and PHD also. There will be two series exams and one university exam in each semester and there are eight semesters in Btech.
