Chandigarh University holds many records for placements and its academics and extracurricular activities. It has many world records for various achievements like making the largest hydro rocket, etc. It holds the LIMCA BOOK of World Record for calling a maximum number of companies for placements and for maximum placements in north India. Also, the academic level of Chandigarh University is excellent and similar to foreign universities. It works on project-based learning through which students can grasp more knowledge and polish their skills and prepare themselves for the corporate world. As I am a science student and I am interested in technologies and curious to learn about it, so I decided to make my career through B.Sc (computer science). Faculty and students have a healthy and friendly relationship and faculty shares all their knowledge with students to make a better future for them. There is no partiality done between the students by the teachers. All the students are treated equally. Almost every faculty in CU is a scholar in their respective fields, and have good experience of teaching and working incorporate as well and shares their experience and knowledge with the students to make them aware of everything and make them ready for the same.

Chandigarh University has collaboration with many companies that provide internships for the students to give them training and polish their skills and get ready to work in any situation with full efficiency. Students get experience and knowledge and become ready for the corporate world.

Chandigarh University is known for its best placements. It holds many records for placements like the world record for calling a maximum number of companies on campus for placements and a maximum number of placements. Many bog and small MNCs visit the campus for placement drives like google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest package offered is 35LPA and average package is 5-7 LPA. My planes are also to get good scores in academics and then getting placed in a renowned company and getting a handsome salary.

A very reasonable fee structure is decided by Chandigarh University for every branch. for example the fees of B.Sc.(CS) in 35000 per semester, which is a fair fee for this course. CU also offers scholarships for students on the basis of their percentage in 12th and also on the basis of CUCET held in Chandigarh university at the time of admission in which students gets scholarships on the basis of their scores. Also, CU helps the students with different solutions those who are not financially stable for depositing the fee without any problem.

The campus gives you the best feeling of your student life as CU has an enormous infrastructure and there are different departments and activity halls where different activities are held like dance, music, sports and all other activities. CU has many auditoriums to organize the events. There are libraries in every department and an enormous central library for students where all the study material is available. Huge classrooms are there in which approx 80 students can sit with comfort, also there are well equipped and scientific labs with latest technologies. CU has the best teams in sports and have grabbed many medals and certificated at the state and national level. Overall, CU is an ideal university for the students.

Hostel room has enough space and bed, wardrobe and study table with chair is provided to every student in the hostel. Enough washrooms are available on every floor so that students can get ready on time and can attend lectures on time. The meal is provided to the students of hostel 4time (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner) and they provide quality and tasty food. The hostel is inside the university campus and have all the amenities like a playground, gym, wifi, etc.
