Remarks

We have a good environment to study and practical knowledge is awsome. We also have fests and sports activities going around the year. Overall it Is a good platform for anyone to enjoy and study and get engineering degree.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE I choose this course because I am good at electronics and I am more intrested into this type of deep study of electronics and I just love this course and it's practical experiences.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is good till now but still last year is yet to come. I am more interested in practical experience and looking forward to final year project.

Internships Opportunities

Yet u haven't tried for any internships but through friends I got to know that bsnl and other big companies in electronics field visit our college for internships.

Placement Experience

Many big names like l&t,TCS,Infosys, mahindra and many others visited our college for campus placement and hired a great amount of students.

College Events

4.5

We celebrate tech and nontech fest of our college it is the biggest fest that happens during the year. Except imaze we enjoy sports fest, navratri and many workshops during the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We have to pay 40k per sem and we pay it at the start of the sem. We also have 3 twf students per class and 5 scholarship students per class.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes we have 3 twf students per class and 4-5 scholarship students per class and for those who get good at the end of the semester they dnt have to pay for next semester.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are awsome labs are big and necessary equipments are available sports facilities are poor and we are runners up of robocon.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is average coped to other hostels of the area. But we do expect a little more from college. They need improvement in mess but hostel is average.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

All the exams are conducted by gtu so final exams are centralised but internal exams are taken by college and the level of paper are very hard and practical that encourages the student to work on his practical skills more.

Faculty

They are very helpful. They don't just help you in college hours. Even after college you can contect them anytime. They are ready to help you 24 hrs a day and even out of course questions are welcome by them.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Overview of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology

I did not apply to any other colleges as I wanted to go for Mechatronics engineering and not many colleges in Gujarat provided that course during my admission time. The other option was Parul University which I did not want to go to because of the negative academic reviews of the said university. G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology however, had a good reputation based on their academic and hi-tech practicality which made me surely want to choose this college for my education. The admission process was very easy as I went through the final round of the admission process of ACPC. I was immediately accepted and the paper work and the formalities were carried out by the administration department very smoothly. There were no said external entrance exams for the said course and the result for the 12th board was the only thing that was required. The orientation and campus tour was also provided on the day of admission itself which made it easier for me to understand the layout of the campus and also meeting the few faculty members was very insightful on the first day itself....Read More
