The college is great in overall personality development and discipline. I had v bad stage fear since school days but due to the weekly sessions, now I don't have any fear to speak even in front of 1000 people. Yeah, the college is bit strict with the in timings and out timings and no one is allowed outside in college hours, I felt it a bit strict bit thinking now I think it was necessary.
The course is primary class room, and every week we have personality development sessions in which teams are decided and every week one team has to conduct the session which includes 1.powerpoint presentation 2. JAM sessions 3.Treasure hunt And other such fun activities in which everyone had to participate
College has bought placement from about 4-5 companies such as concentrix, cap gemini, flipkart and others, Proper placement assistance was provided, but the turn up was a bit low since everyone wanted to pursue MBA, As per the year which I left the placement was about 20-30% who actually joined.
Varnahela - it's an inter college event held every year where almost 20-30 colleges across the city participate and as explained earlier our college was one of the best in managing fests. PRAXIS- This was a management fest conducted for the first time during our tenure and a noted political person who is an MP had visited ( I don't remember his name)
In 2015 the fee was 25000 per year. College accepted cheque and cash and college also offered scholarship to local Students.A advance of some minimum amount is required to secure a seat, I had paid only 2k. The fee breakdown was fairly transparent, however one should ensure to maintain proper attendance percentage in a academic year or else the college charges a lot of fine. About 2-3 k.
I have not opted since I was from different state. It's available for same state people. It can be availed by talking to the accountant.
The gender ratio was fairly equal. In my class we had about 25 boys and 20 girls.College is famous for extra curricular activities, and colg includes some deserving students as coordinators for a year. The selected students also get a stipend and certificate at the end of year for helping in college events The college atmosphere is good and healthey,my class had students from Jharkhand, punjab and Odisha as well. though the dominance was of telugu people. College is fairly strict regarding any mal practises and unethical activities and mostly the atmosphere sometimes reminds us of school.
I did not opt for hostel as I had rented for a room. College does not have its own hostel and they have a tie up with local city hostels. Who charge an average of 3500 per month for food and bed.The hostels are good with 4 people in a room as I had stayed for 2 months, but i strongly suggest to get a room along with friends for best experience.
Yes, we had some of the most helpful seniors and one of them even offered me to be his room mate and I stayed with him for complete course. We were helped a lot in our weekly PPT sessions as it was mandate for 1 senior to be present in every group. We also had regular guest lectures from industry people which provided fair share of knowledge.
After my 12th I wanted to do something in the commerce side as I dint have a keen interest in doing btech. Bcom was not something which I preferred. Hence I did a bit of research and found about BBM, I visited the college and met the then principal MS UMA BALA she explained me the cource their ciricullam and I loved it. I came back with my father and paid the feed and joined. It's a 3 year cource with an internship in the 2nd year and field visit to different city in 1st year. The college is famous for extra curricular activities in all over the colleges in city and it organises some of the best college fests in city.its a great learning experience and students are given complete freedom to organise the fest
We had 5 clases in a day and we had about 2-3 lecturers for same cource and almost all of them had profound knowledge of the course, Everyone was a post graduate as much as I know of as per my interaction. I specially loved the teaching of my HR lecturer and Finance lecturer. They were experts in their field and their way of explaining was very practical.
