My Review

Vivek College of Commerce is a very good institution in Mumbai if you want to pursue your career in fiance and commerce. The teaching faculty is really good and experienced be it the old generation or newly passed out teachers. The professors know very well how to guide and assist their students based on all grounds of requirements from achieving good scores to developing the personalities of the students.

Course curriculum is semester patterned with final exams conducted by the state board/University of Mumbai. The college also conducts industrial visits for the students of all streams. The visits are always related to their respective academic studies.

My college does conduct placements for all the students pursuing different courses. Companies recruit the students after understanding their potential in the stream selected as well as counsel them in order to bring out the best in their interview schedules. Students are prepared much before the placement begin. Companies like JPMC, Kotak Bank, WNS global, etc have conducted their placements here.

Vivek College is a South Indian run institution. The management believes in following the traditional culture of Onam and Pongal. These two festivals are celebrated in a grand way every year. It also brings many students culturally together either by participating in the festival or attending the same.

Programme fee is as per the university board as well as the management rules. The fees charged are not that high and the college also makes sure the fee structure can be affordable to all categories of students. There is transperancy in the college fee structure to all provided in the college brochures.

The college surely had scholarship sanctions. However I never availed the same as I was not great at scores. Receiving scholarship requires good and high scores. Hence I cannot provide much information regarding the scholarship and education loans.

College is a co-ed institution open to all categories of students and teachers. College always encouraged visiting faculties to share their experiences with the students in order to understand a broader concept of the educational environment. The college is highly diverse and tolerant with regards to gender, race, religion, politics, etc. We have our own ground for sports activities as well as meeting areas for conducting cultural programmes.

The college has an alumni association. Senior students from 20 years old since pass out age. They are always welcoming and encouraging when it comes to achieving your goals and objectives. They provide their time and consideration towards their institution which gives a strong sense of hope and unity to everyone.

I got the admission through a merit list procedure. I was sure to pursue commerce and finance streams. Vivek College being one of the colleges with great teaching faculty I couldn't think of any other. Nearby location to a South Indian student crowd I couldn't think of any other colleges.

Vivek College has the best teaching facilities. They are not only experienced but also counsellors in nature. Most of the professors hold professional degrees like CA, PhD and other certified degrees. All the professors follow a structured pattern to help the students understand their topics and doubts.
