Very good staff but lack of drinking water facilities is one of the drawbacks. COMMERCE Staff is very good. TEACHERS Are willing to help you in every subject. Fees are low compared to other colleges. No tension of fulfilling attendees in B.Com 3rd year except Punjabi.
I choose this course because I did +2 in commerce. Students teacher ratio in my class was 120.1. Mostly the teachers were M.Com in particular and specialised subjects. There were midterm exams every semester whose difficulty level was up to mark.
There is no campus placement for students for B.Com. After my degree I studied hard to get a job in the bank on my own basis, college did nothing in it.
There is discrimination in fees policy as I am from general category I paid fees in last year around 9200 and people of bc caste got a scholarship and sc caste students were asked to pay only 700. So it is discrimination. I am from a lower-middle-class family as I did not get any scholarship because I am a general caste student.
There was only an athletic meet once a year, no other fest. The library is very very awesome and a lot of books are available in it. The proper place for students to study. There is student union who work only for reservation-based students but not for general candidates students.
I didn't opt for placement. I have my own startup so, I took off-campus placement as on record. However, I heard from my fellows that placement is depending upon luck. Every renowned company like- tech Mahindra, OYO, amazon, etc does visit campus but it's up to you how you use that opportunity. They show a 100% placement record. My plan is I have my own startup will work for that.
Overall my experience was good but few things were bad like a way of teaching of few faculty and their biased nature.
I opt the b.com Hons course because I am from a commerce background and I was interested in this course. I choose the university because of the best infrastructure and wanna experience that environment. I got to know that the admission was going on into my hometown Varanasi so, I went over there and told my 12th marks then they gave me scholarship then I filled the forms duly signed then I asked them about few things about the university they helped me out with those questions.
as I already tell that teaching staff are good but the administrative department not as up to the mark but apart from this college is good
After 12th, one can join for b.com. And no such hard entrance exam you need to go for. Admission process in my opinion should be based on the subjects which the student is interested and want to go throughout his study time.
The scope of placement becomes wider after doing graduation in accounts and finance sector. As joining further competition exams like banking, insurance etc. Also helps for the future.
