Mayank Patel's Review On Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College, New Delhi

I choose this college because it was the best college for b.com(p) as per my 12th overall percentage and also according to the d.u. cutoff list. My college Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College is also a top 10 college for b.com (p) in all over d.u. colleges.

My course which i had opted when i was in my college was very much upto date. their was lots of practical done my me as an assignment work like in my second semester i had learnt how to file income tax and also do some research work as project for international business. different of seminars held during my academic period or session. once i went for a industrial visit by professor Ritika chaudhary for some research work. professor Versha who taught me income tax was very good professor as well as Dr. D.k. gupta who taught me corporate accounting was also very intelligent as genius professor.

yes i was selected for three companies in second year for internship. one i know gocar it was a startup that time i was appointed as a content writer for that company with 3000 rupees as a stipend for 3 month and also i was a canmpus ambassador of internsala.

Placements and job opportunities in my college are very satisfying and good. placement cell of my college helps us or entire college students to find them best jobs according to their study background or area of intrest. when i was in second year the placement cell of my college also organized internship fair in that fair around 50 companies visited our college and also i got selected in 3 of them one i remember is gocar it was a startup that time. like wise for jobs multiples of companies visited our campus like EY, KPMG, Deloitte, and many more. many friends of mine placed in these big four companies.

The life in the campus was very marvelous one can create lots of memories in their graduation session. Different of clubes or societies of different different sector like english society, hindi society, commerce association, debate society, theater group, dance society, enactus enterpreneur society and many more. also different kinds of seminars were held, many cultural festival as well as management festivals held during the year. When i was in first year i appeared for every society interview and got selected in few society like commerce association, enactus, nss and also take participation in cultural as well management festivals. an annual feast was held by the student union for the college as well as outside college students but mandatory that outsiders are also from Delhi university only. In every february an annual function was held to encrouge students participation in societies or clubs by a token of respect or appreciation.

There was a bank in my college with provide student finance facility. and for the weaker section of the society university relief him/her from fee sebmission and also provide scholarship only for those who apply for it. At the counter of administration department they provide scholarship form every year.

The campus infrastructure of my college was very good and also provide all kind of facility which a college should have to provide. the sport facility of my college is very excellent it provide all kind of sport equipment and there sports ground. fully wi-fi campus with multiple wi-fi network. size of the library was not that much large but have all kind or all subjects book and also have varities of newspaper. a canteen was there with lot of food varities and lot of space. Every year college organized a college fest in the ground or welcome artist for that fest. Student union election held every year for student wellfare. the building of the college share by two coleeges evening or morning both college share same building the timing for evening college was 2 p.m.-7p.m. as well.

No i was not opted any type of hostel because in my college there was no hostel facility. even south campus Delhi university colleges didn't provide hostel facility. i was lived outside the campus around 200-300 meter far from the campus in a PG. the average rents for the PG's or flats were around 5000 for single person without food. I was also given rent of my one bed rupees 6000 without food or electricity. total with food and electricity it was cost me around 10 thousand. the area near my college slightly costlier in comparision to the other 2 km areas of my collge.
