Review of college

Overall the college is good. There might be some negatives but the positives cut those out.

There are two internal examinations and one main semester examination every semester (6months). The internals give you a basic idea how the questions will be in semester exams. The interested students in research have many opportunities as faculty and college supports them in the field they are interested. Yes industrial visits are organised for better knowledge of what we study theoretically.

Last year's highest package was 34lpa an and the average package is 4lpa. Infosys, Mahindra and Mahindra are a few companies that visit us. Yes special subjects such as PSD are used to prepare students for placement.

Different departments organize different events throughout the year and one college dear which involves all the students from all departments. Basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton, carrom, chess, are few of the examples of the events talent hunt show by different clubs are also conducted.

Online and offline both payment modes are accepted by college. The fee structure for my year was 1,12,000 last year's batch was 1,20,000 and so on. No additional fees is required to secure an admission only the college started fees is required. Also it takes around 4000 types for some goods provided by the college.

You need to contact the administrator and ask about how to apply scholarship. The are many scholarship opportunities for girls. I don't know the exact figure but you can surely apply for the scholarships you are eligible for college will help out in that.

Gender ratio is pretty good in our college. In case of a few departments the ratio is not work the mark but rest such as computer science, informatics practices, electronics and telecommunication, chemical, electrical, electronics has good gender ratio.

The hostel is available inside college campus. Is given on first come first serve basis. 1,00,000 is the approximate charge of the college hostel (increases every year). It includes food and room rent.

Yes the alumni are really very helpful and are always available for solving problems caused. Alumni also helps in projects if possible.

The college conducts it's own examination for the admission process. First you need to go to college website then fill the entrance exam form. After that you need to select centres for examination. If you get the rank and then get a seat in the examination you'll get counseling dates and after that you'll be asked to pay the fees if taken admission to reserve seat.

There are 6 lectures (1 hour each) per day or 4 lectures and 1 practical (2 hours). Yes there are many guest lectures conducted by industry experienced employees for future scopes and knowledge of requirements and how the theoretical knowledge is useful in industry. The professors are all at least postgraduates in respective fields and many are pursuing PhD along.
