It is a good college as its my last few days i will be missing my college. I m in 8th semester so its going to end soon.

Course Curriculum Overview

In CVRGU we had many different personality development classes other academics and soft skills, cdac classes in cdac classes we have learned a lot of courses like java, advance java, web technology, Hadoop, data modeling, android, linux, IT infrastructure and many more.

Placement Experience

Its very good. I got placed in 3 companies that is Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini but decided to join Infosys internship. I had great experience during the 4 months internship but due to Corona we were evacuated little soon.

College Events

In technical fest we have many events like coding, robotics, solving technical puzzles and many more. In cultural fest we xumberance, dosti not out,fast and furious, eat and win, lucky star, dance, sargam. And excluding cultural and technical fest many more events like debate, exhibition, codevita events are also organised during session.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is little high but manageable. College fees 115000, ssepl fees 15000, hostel fees 67000. And the registration fees for each semester is 1800 previously it was 1560 but last year it was increased. The college fees is taken yearly not semester wise so it becomes little tough for aome students to manage the amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i didn't opted for any scholarship or education loan. My father used to manage the college fees. So never needed any type of scholarship or educational loan.

Campus Life

My campus life was amazing. There was equal number of girls and boys. There was great diversity we used celebrate all the festival very enthusiastically. I have attended many workshops. Even teachers never use to do discrimination against any one whether its religion or gender.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, i opted for hostel. I shared my room with 3 other members. The rooms are well spacious and furnished. We had a common washroom in the floor. There was many washrooms. The warden used to monitor us.

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors were very good. They were very helpful friendly in nature. Always helped us in academic co-curricular activity. During placement also.

Admission

I m from odisha and i heard studying in Odisha would be better so i decided to study in Odisha. Also CVRGU has good placement records and atlastly everybody wants a job so i decided to graduate from this college. Many of my friends and uncle suggested to join this college.

Faculty

All the teachers were well qualified PHD and some of them had M.tech degree. Nearly about 15-20 lecturers in our course. They taught all the things will good examples and also with special doubt clearing classes. They groomed us so perfectly that i got placed in 3 companies.

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

I gave her and applied for colleges like bit sindri, lpu, chandigarh university but was not able to get bit and lpu was to costly which was out of budget for me . An Honest Look at Life and Learning at CV Raman Global University

I chose CV Raman Global University over some other colleges I applied to mainly because it offered my preferred course with reasonable fees, decent infrastructure and an acceptable placement record. I had also applied to a few government and well-known private colleges, but I could not secure admission there due to higher cutoffs, strong competition and rank limitations in entrance exams. Compared to those colleges, CVRGU provided quicker confirmation, flexible admission timelines and a clear course structure, which made the decision easier. The admission process was smooth and student-friendly, based on eligibility criteria like minimum marks in Class 12 for UG courses, and it accepts exams such as JEE Main along with merit-based admissions. Most students prefer JEE Main, though cutoffs are moderate compared to top-tier colleges. Comparing to different colleges such as iter or kiit universities then here you get good opportunity to participate in different clubs and show off their skill infront of the officials . Talking about placements then student will get fair opportunity but the thing is that if your score is less than 60% in 10th or 12th then you were not eligible for the campus drive .
