I researched and found out that the college has a reputation in getting placements for deserving candidates, the staff is well educated, the campus is pretty good..., But When I took admission and entered the real deal I found out that whatever was told us through social media platforms and other resources was a half-truth. Yes, college gives you placement but "Mass Recruiters" outweigh product-based companies. The staff is average, few of then hardly have any clue about "English grammar and spoken English".

B. Tech in computer science and Engineering was always my first choice. Here in GLA one of the most successful and attractive branch is Btech CSE. We have almost 70 students in a class and classes are really organized. You will find some faculty members, who really work with there true potential and give there best for the welfare of students. Exam are conducted in 3 levels 1st Midterm (15 marks) 2nd Midterm (15 marks) and End Term (50 marks) Almost all exams are theories, they won't ask you any questions that have some practical background. The practical exams i.e. Labs.... are the easiest ones to pass.

There are four types of companies that visit GLA. 1) Product-based. ( Package 18-28 L/annum ) 2) Service based. ( Package 18-22L/annum) 3) Startups. ( Package 12-18 L/annum ) 4) Mass recruiter. ( Package 2.5 - 15 L/annum ) GLA is visited by several companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, etc. and has also been visited by Microsoft. The mass recruiters outweigh the Product based companies here in GLA. There is a separate training and placement department which prepares you for your upcoming exams and interviews. If you maintain an average CPI ( 6.5+ ) and have held on your basics and worked on some mini projects, there is no one stopping you to get a placement, but be sure to choose between Mass recruiters and Services providers.

B.tech CSE ( No specialization) has a fee of 1,56,000 and it does not include hostel and mess fee. The scholarships are (Samaj Kalyan) and one run by the state government.

Campus life is pretty good here in GLA. There is a separate ground which you can visit during college hours and the ones that are close to hostels ( both boys and girls ). They frequently organize group parties, fests, and DJ nights, Battle of Bands to make you feel that you are really in a college and not in a school. Apart from fun, there are coding competitions and several hobbies based activities too. Libraries are pretty good here, you will find almost everything you need. There are two libraries and a separate one for those who are doing research on something.

Hostels have average size rooms, they are neither too big nor too small, but they are overall comfortable. They provide separate almirah for each individual, separate bed, separate chair and table for studies and a LAN for free Internet uses ( speed approx 400-900 KBPS ). The bathrooms are pretty good, and cleaning is done on a regular basis ( almost 2 times a day ). There are some PG's available, but they aren't very close to the college. The ones which are good are located almost 4-5 KM far from college and you will need to travel on your own or by public transport. I won't suggest that, because you shouldn't miss the hostel's life here.
