Remarks

This College is known for its reputation and the campus. But Physics teaching and non- teaching staff is quite pretty harsh and don't willing to help students.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

About college campuses and classes it is enough to be the best.

Course Fees: INR 19000 per year

Placement Experience

College does not give good campus placement which is supposed to be a major drawback for students who are pursuing courses here.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many consultancies in fees and other extra facilities where we can say at this point college is best.

Campus Life

Recently College has arranged Chandi Utsav which was great because the college had given the freedom to students to show up their talent and some too many special guests were also invited. Overall Event Successfully Completed their motive to give a platform to students.

Chill and kill boredom at Somaiya Clg

Likes

The campus,,, Somaiya has best college campus with lot of activities area in it
The Sittings accross the campus is really student friendly
Canteens were supper affordable for students for food accessibility

Dislikes

The cordination given by management of college, They were so rude all the time idk y

Course Curriculum Overview:

Literature gave me insights to the history and a different pov on the situations happened Literature sharpens the thought process we can have in real world scenarios which are quite unique tbh. Its just too much of theory, if could update it and make it somehow relavent to today situation, it would be fun learning it

SPC from a TYBA students POV

Likes

Kalamandal (like theatre club), it’s a different world and it’s magical.
December to March is the college fests time and it’s super lively and fun
Psychology, Sociology & Philosophy departments have amazing professors. They’re smart, helpful and actually care for their students

Dislikes

Except for Psyc, Socio& Philo other departments are awful specially the English department. The HOD herself speaks horrible English and doesn’t even know any books of jane Austin besides pride and prejudice.
The toilets are horrible and never clean and are barely open even. The canteens are also okayish at most.
The management and accounts department are horribly slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.

The college management has appointed a student council who look after all the needs of the students and is responsible and accountable to manage and follow up different activities, events and functions throughout the year. They are the main link between all the societies working in the college and team members of these societies.

CHM Bsc IT, Student pov(First year)

Well, I planned to join the top college near my locality and I did. CHM is the best college near my locality, but my plan B was joining RKT college. My 12th boards percentage was more than enough for taking admission in CHM, I didn't get rejected by any other college as I joined the best one, Well, about the admission process during the admission process, second-year students help in the admission process as it's easy to handle as they have experiences, eligibility is checked on the cut-offs of the board exams results, cut-offs for last year were 66, for last round, as CHM has more seats u can easily get addmissiion even if ur from general ceategoray...Read More
