Remarks

The college has a good name. I chose this college to add I took late admission and by that time so other college's admission was closed. The admission process is simple, you just have to fill the form, submit your documents and pay the fees. That's all. Good aspects that are there are many things which can be given to the students and the bad aspect that it's not given. There's no proper exposure of the students to the outside environment, I mean there's no internship provided by the college, there are no excursion trips, there's no outing where we can get to know about the opportunities and careers outside the campus. It just provides theory-based education, nothing practical.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was interested in learning literature and psychology that's why I chose this college. Faculty are good, their way of teaching is also okay.

Placement Experience

1.5

There's a panel for placement which doesn't work properly. Every year only 2-3 companies confess for placement. And that too not for all the courses. BA have a minimum number of placement team coming every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's no financial assistance given to the students buy the college. Fees are less as compared to other colleges.

Campus Life

2.5

Infrastructure is not at all good. Sports and extracurricular activities are organised regularly by the college. There's nothing in the classrooms except blackboard, benches and chair.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected BA(English) course. Because I was quite good at English that's why I chose it. And I still Didn't go to college. Because our class starting date didn't announce by the college (Kittel arts college, Dharwad). That's why I have no idea about teaching staff and facilities. Of course, I hope it will be the best that I heard about this (kittel arts college, Dharwad) college. I heard only positive comments about this college.

Placement Experience:

In the final year students become eligible for placements and we have placement cell also. In 2nd year only we have attended 2-4 news channels interview and training. But due to pandemic, we didn't attend placements and all. And our seniors to didn't attend for placements because they are interested in higher education. So the percentage of placements is not clear, but for us, they prepared fully to attend any type of job interviews and also to handle all juniur of news channel and newspaper.
