Remarks

Every commerce student must have dreamt of taking admission in DELHI UNIVERSITY at least once in their school years. I also dreamt of the same. When the cutoffs went out and i got a slab of a percentage I decided to admission in this college. PGDAV (E) is way far better college than it looks in the GOOGLE. The admission process is very easy. You have to come to the college with all your certificates if your percentage of marks comes into the cutoff list. It will take hardly 3 hours and you will get admission.PGDAV(E) has the biggest canteen in DELHI UNIVERSITY and I'm sure that you'll become a fan of the " Chilli potatoes" once you eat them. PGADV(E) has many societies that will help you in uplifting your confidence and skills. Metro station is like just 100 away from the colleges. There's a proper security system available. As I wanted to become a CA so i had got plenty of time to do my CA classes as well as classes of college

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I was having maths in my class 12 but i couldn't get my percentage in the cutoff list so I had to opt for this course instead of BCom (hons). PGDAV(E) has very intelligent and qualified teachers who treat you just as their kids and they teach how to handle difficult situations in life accompanied by the syllabus of the course. There is one teacher for every 35 students and i consider it as very decent. Every exam is easy if you are prepared for it so for me it was very easy. You can only score good marks if you've prepared really good for it. There's no chances of cheating.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

PGDAV(E) gives internship opportunities . As i was in my 1st year a total of 53 companies came to visit our college and they took a huge number students as interns. Some of the companies were bajaj, mahindra etc

Placement Experience

3.5

I want to crack CAT after completing my degree and to be admitted in one of the business schools. I know the path is difficult but I'll do it

Fees and Financial Aid

Very structure is very moderate. If you are able to study in India's one of the topmost university for around 15K then it's very affordable. We all know the value of getting certified from DELHI UNIVERSITY. College also provides deduction in the fee for backward classes and that's veryyy beneficial for many poor families and for the future of their kids.

Campus Life

5

Name of the annual fest of PGDAV(E) is "AAGAJ" and many other fests are conducted by different departments. In AAGAJ many bands of Delhi come and play their music. Many competition are organized where students of every college of DELHI UNIVERSITY come to participate and to cheer. Huge gathering of crowd and a lot of fun. All this stuffs starts from mid January and lasts upto February. Library is very furnished and full air conditioned where you can find every book of your course and even books for your development. Journals of every language are present here. Every class is well furnished and very well ventilated. Every class has huge windows fom where you can look outside doing those boring lectures This college has many societies in which you want to take part. These societies help you for development of your personality, knowledge and skills. Some of the societies are ENACTUS, ROTARACT,SAVI etc.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.
