Remarks

College provide very valuable insights on developing perspectives and holistic problem solving nature.

Entrance Preview

Took XAT exam for selection. My score was 87 percentile. I heard good reviews about the institute and the fees structure suited my financial condition.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was up to date focussing on holistic development.Focus on Business strategy, ethics, and process philosophies. Elective of my choice was New Product development, supply chain management.

Internships Opportunities

Some companies participated in internship were: Ashok Leyland, Satyam Computers, Infosys, Tata Motors, Coca - cola. The internship experience was good for me at Satyam Computers. I was not paid any stipend.

Placement Experience

We had 100 % placement during my academic year. The average salary of the batch was around 4 lacs. Companies included Ashok Leyland, Satyam Computers, Infosys, Tata Motors, GECafe Coffee day, DeloitteI was placed with Odissa Technologies for annual package of 4 lacs.

College Events

Pragati - rural marketing fair conducted by students, Operacy - Management Fest, Kalasanchay - Cultural Fest, Ashwamedha - Sports FestSamanvay - Alumni Meet etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure was very feasible and this was the main reason for selecting the institute. The fees was around 4 lacs for 2 year period. This included academics, hostel, mess and basic text books.

The college had tied up with State bank of India for education loan. I availed Education loan from canara bank.

Campus Life

The gender ratio was skewed based on the availability of hostel rooms at that time. It has improved to a very healthy ratio now. The hostel environment was very friendly. It was a completely residential program and the institute ensured that high level of professionalism and tolerance is maintained in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms where executive- twin sharing ones with all required amenities. The mess provided good food and the experience was really good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is pretty good for a 15 year old institute. The are always helpful and provide valuable insights to the outgoing batches. Alumni participation is a part of may evaluation programs as well as seminars and workshops.

Exam Structure

It was mixed bag with hectic and chilled out schedules, Exams where conducted in trimesters. Exams where only a part of the evaluation program. Surprise quizzes, class participation, case studies and assignments carried enough weightage as well.

Faculty

Experienced faculty who focussed on experiential learning and case study based discussions. Provided ample opportunities to develop managerial skills and perspectives.

I liked the environment and culture form diverse backgrounds

At IIBS, we become eligible for placements from *4th trimester*. Training starts from 1st trimester itself Companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Federal Bank, KPMG visit. 250+ companies made 1800+ offers last year. Profiles are Business Analyst, Marketing, HR, Finance Analyst. Around 90-95% students get placed.

ISME: THIS IS ME !!

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

ISME PGDM REVIEW

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

The admission process in the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS) is centralized. The KIAMS has two campuses at Harihar and Pune.
