Course Curriculum Overview

In first year it is core and in 2nd year one needs to choose specialisation major and minor. In major one can only opt finance, HR or Marketing. And in minor we have one more choice of IB.

Internships Opportunities

College do alot of effort for placing their student in internship. It organises internship fair in which college welcomes 30-40 companies for summer internship of their students. General stipend offered is of Rs.3000.

Placement Experience

College do alot of efforts in final placement as well. Companies like evalueserve, RBS, CSC, Flipkart visit the campus. Although packages differ frm company to company. But in general we get in between 2.5-6 Lpa package.

College Events

Every year college organise its technical fest which is named as Tantra-e-Naya and a cultural fest which is named as Razzmattaz. And also every college celebrate winter carnival. Apart from college also focuses on extra curricular activities on routine basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is reasonable as compared to other colleges. It took about 2.5 lakh for complete mba. One can opt for loan from banks for the same.

Campus Life

As compare to boys, girls are large in number. Campus life is good over here. The only disadvantage is that campus is not too huge. But it have all the necessary things.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini comes from time to time in college in helping students to crack the interviews and sharing their experience. They had in college as well in the cimpanies they are working.

Exam Structure

There are 2 type of xams one is internal (25% weightage) and another is external (75% weightage). And passing marks required is 40% in total.

Faculty

College have experienced faculty like phd holders etc. and they are friendly as well. Faculty also help you to get extra notes and classes if required by students. Most of the faculties are female. But male faculties are good in numbers.

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

Honesty is the Best Policy

Likes

The college is very good, it has been 1 month and I am liking it very much just coz of the faculty they are all experienced and teach with great zeal. They also help u in clearing doubts and when you want to study u have a very high-tech study room.
There are a good set of students, the clubs are also helping students get into the management role, the companies which come for SIP, THEY TRAIN YOU FOR WHAT THEY WANT
The certifications have also been given by the college

Dislikes

The location is too far from my home. The travel time make me tried and study time reduces
The Hostel In sec-7 is not upto the mark. The location is very congested
There is o play ground, as I am a football lover but I cannot play

Placement Experience:

I am in the 1st year, so the question of placement goes out of discussion. The 2nd yr students have just come back from SIP and have a positive review. As per the favculty the placement are to be exxpected in the range of 15-25lacs.

LBSIM Delhi : An Institution with Value-driven Management with Elite Finance Infrastructure

Likes

Academic and Tech Facilities : Great Academic Rigor.
Faculty & Placement Strength : Faculty has vast industry experience. Corporate Relations are exceptionally strong.

Dislikes

Campus Size : In the heart of the country, a traditional open-air B-school experience is difficult.
Batch Intake : The intake for flagship PGDM course is high which causes high competition among students for summer internships and placements.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.

The curriculum is regularly updated to align with current industry trends and include case studies, life, project, lectures, workshop and exponential learning. These initiative help student build practical skills and prepare them for corporate roles.

Dislikes

Campus is relatively small compared to many other premier school limiting availability of large opening space and sports facilities
Some administrative processes can be time consuming especially during admissions and fees related formalities.
The academic schedule is quite rigorous , with frequent assignment presentations,quizzes and project making time management challenging.

Placement Experience:

The pavement opportunities at lbsim are good especially for tier 2 b school the institute has a dedicated placement cell that actively works with recruiters and supports student throughout the placement process. Regular training sessions on aptitude resume building group discussions mock interviews and communications skills help students prepare for campus recruitment.

Industry oriented PGDM with good learning and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

LBSIM offers good placement support with students becoming eligible after the summer internship. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG,EY ,Infosys, Accenture, ICICI Bank and Wipro visit the campus. The average package is around 12 to 13 lakhs per annum with higher offer offers for top performers, placement support, industry, exposure and alumni guidance are strong. I plan to pursue a business analytics role after completing the course.

Faculty , grid and the administration is really good and supportive . There will be adequate amount of exposure to certain non academic activities too .Campus is also decently spacious and overall canteen and class infrastructure is also good .

Placement Experience:

The placements here is decent , good companies visit here , also the college is now been accredited with AACSB , which will help making the foundation stronger . Highest was 24 lakh , and average of the batch is 12.3 lakh . Almost 90% students get placed at decent position , while the placement cell also support each and every person with their utmost guidance .

Why i chose LBSIM for my PGDM

Likes

faculty is knowledgeable and is very well versed with the industy
this college is AACSB accredited. only 30 colleges in India have that
Learning resource center is amazing with a great variety of books

Dislikes

Campus size is small but competitors have a similar campus size
Sports facility is limited to TT, badminton court

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBA curriculum is well structured and covers the core areas of management including marketing, finance, operations, HR, analytics and AI. Courses are industry oriented, have a case based learning approach and institute's focus on practical management skills rather than only theoritical concepts.

schedule is very tight and could not get time for self
campus is small and fees could be low as per the roi

The placements have been getting with every year. Last year, the highest package that any student from this college was able to achieve was about 24,00,000Rs. Students are eligible for the placements by the start of fourth or fifth semester

For the summer internship we start getting companies from late August and the interview kees going on till September and then our intership starts in April till July .These happen after our first semester exam

My College is Rukmini Devi Institute of Advance Studies. Which come under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. To get into the colleges of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University there is an entrance exam IPU CET ( Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) which is an General Test. On the basis of you score you will be provided a rank. According to your rank you will get a college from your list and preferences of college in counselings like Delhi University. If you get an college and you want to take admission in that college so you need to pay 60,000 online to university then remaining fees to the college. I applied for Delhi University. I gave CUET got an decent score but I didn't get an decent college in Delhi University. I also applied for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University too at the same time I got Rukmini Devi Institute of Advance Studies and 2 more colleges but I choose this college as it is more feasible to reach direct metro(red line). Also my knowns has studied from her they gave a positive review. And the main thing placement, this college try their best to give you a good placement. Companies come in this college like amazon and wipro. Admission process for this college is same as above. You need to get a decent rank till 4000.
