Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum is designed so well as to balance the theory classes and the practical classes. Learning opportunity is very high in this college. Exam is taken semester wise.here learning is not a burden.

Placement Experience

I have seen many of the alumni of the college is working at very big hospitals and have a great future the placement record of the college is very good yes it offers internship for the student in the final year. Believe me you will have a great career after passing out from this college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Suncity the private college show the fee structure is high then that UP government 1 the annual fee of my college is around 13.9 lakhs. Headphone holder academic its goes for 65 lakhs.there is no hidden charge IT include examination fee, tuition fee, registration fee etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are many kind of scholarship available in a college like there is some scholarship for the financially weak background students and there is also a scholarship for the meritorious students who get good marks in in semester examination.

Campus Life

There is very old train of cultural events in our college which has grown very big till now our college has many mega events at multi times in a year to refresh and boost up student from daily boring college day routine.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel is within the campus. My hostel is well furnished and it is equipped with all modern facilities the hostel fee is around 1 lakh per annum which includes lodging and fooding both. Proper sanitization in maintain. Hygiene is also kept in top priority. The environment inside the hostel is very good. Infrastructure of the hostels is also good.

Admission

The only process to get admission in my college is to appear in NEET examination and score good marks how were a minimum cutoff of boards is also required that is 60% class 12th examination. I scored 545 marks to get MBBS here. After clearing examination you just need to appear in the counselling which is not so hectic. It's the easy one.

Faculties are the best part of my college. There are always with the students to guide help and mentor to take right decision. Such a big name can't be possible for this college without its hard work and dedicated.

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course

Faculties are good. Most them are very friendly
Class rooms and canteen are also good. Not the best
Fees are very low comparing to other collages

Dislikes

Not giving good placements. Only 1 or 2 good companies good. Others are average
I'm not interested hostel. But my friends in hostel always saying that the food is not good.
Some faculties are not treat all the students equal. Not every only some

Placement Experience:

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

Likes

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.

Life of a student in Travancore medical college

I applied to believers church medical college, Mes Medical College and this college. I had only applied in the mop-up round as I was not planning to join any college this year. The allotment process is determined on ranks, as people with more marks than me applied to the same colleges with little as 2 seats left in most they got the seats The admission process for me was rapid. Honest review about travancore medicity kollam kerala

I got selected to this college by admission procedures by allotment list given by me during the admission time. List of colleges to be provided and college given to each student accordingly by availability and by marks and reservations. Other colleges are no different from this college than some things such as freedom of roaming around campus at night or having to use vehicles freely without permissions to park. Admission in this college is solely by the neet exam marks . So after the results after 12th student can write the neet exams and give allotment list to the site accordingly by their favourite list of colleges on an order . So from certain number of allotment rounds , student gets admitted on to a college finally and gets to study there. Fees varies according to colleges by 1-1.5 lakhs .Govt colleges are preferably better cuz of their low fee structure and quality of experience gained . Teaching better in pvt colleges I applied for many colleges in Kerala or including govt ones and got this during second allotment . First I got admitted to snims college ernakulam . Also the cutoffs for neet keeps on increasing per year as students are studying as year goes. All the details regarding mark cutoffs are available as many videos in internet .
