Course Curriculum Overview

B.com is a three year program divided into six semesters. In the first year we are taught about basic techniques of accountancy and the general rules of debit and credit that we have learnt in class 12. Thereafter starting from second year we are taught about the financial models and international business.

Placement Experience

The highest package recorded in 2019 was 9 lpa and the average was 4 lpa . Our college gives the students various placements opportunities as many top companies recruit students for top profile positions like assistant manager , Regional & product manager , Finance analyst and many more . Our college also offer summer in internship programs starting with a stipend of 7000.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for my course is around 56,400 for every year . I consider the fees very feasible looking at the infrastructure that they provide us . The hostel and mess charges are also around 20000 . There is a one time non refundable fees which we need to deposit at the beginning of our first year .

Campus Life

The labs of the college are well maintained and clean . There are many festivals held in our college like durga pooja , diwali , holi , bihu and many more so that the students can come together and narrow their regional differences . Many sports activities like really race , table tennis , horse riding etc are also held in our college to boost the morale of the students.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are really helpful . We have a alumni group where many seniors organize conferences , to share their experience about the industry they are working with , how to had to cope up with the other people out there and many more .

Admission

The admission process is conducted online as well as offline . I applied to the college via online mode . One need to have at least 50% in his/her 12th standard and must have passed the exam from a recognized university with English as a compulsory subject..After that I had filled all my details in the registration form online and thereafter I was given admission in the college.

Faculty

The teachers of our college are very disciplined . They always give us timely assignments so as to check our performance that whether we are understanding the concepts or not. Even if any student has a doubt about some topic it is taken up by the teachers and answered willfully with the help of examples so that we can understand better.

My experience as a college student

Likes

The teaching faculties are highly educated with an adaptation of fun way of teaching
The classrooms are spacious and can move around easily
There are variety of courses to choose from

Dislikes

During the summer heat when light goes the fan stops and in the midst of 60-70 students the class becomes really unbearable
Too much fines imposed on students therefore people coming from lower class struggle with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course aligns with my interest and passion.I am confident that i'll acquire valuable skills that will be beneficial for my future career. The instructors are knowledgeable and effective in their teaching methods.However the course schedule is not very flexible which may pose some challenges but nevertheless i am optimistic that completing this course will help me lend a decent job

My college review

Likes

It has seperate bathroom for girls and boys
The college surrounding is always clean and hygienic
It gives equal focus on college study and activities

Dislikes

It has only two canteen inside the campus , which is not convenient enough
It has only one Library which is not convenient enough
It does not give much focus on the upgrading the sound system of the college

Internships Opportunities:

Okay So our department provided Summer internship and me and my friends headed to Guwahati, we worked at Pantaloons which is a shopping mall , i research on the topic Employee satisfaction I was so glad our department provided this opportunity, I learnt A lot though out this internship and now I'm working on my report, hoping I'll do my best

Give and take

Likes

I like the things here in tetso college is the infrastructures
The college provides many great opportunities for the students
There's so many compound for chill out and have a great time with the fellow mates

Dislikes

The things I don't like about this college is quite impressive because the chickpea so called (channa wala) they allowed them to enter in the college campus and sells their products
So many extra-curricular activities also initiated which seems to be avoided
The eating stuffs in the canteen is quite costly which also marks the negativity

It perfectly aligns with my interest and relevance because whichever I chose the papers were by decisions only and it goes preety well with my future exams and productive .they organises various elections for the department of political science and contest elections and also a part of future leaders

Likes

I would say the college sports system is really good.
The teaching faculty is also really good but the college could improve the classrooms conditions as it is very humid.
I can tell that the college does affect my personal and professional development as I'm still new to this college.

Dislikes

I really dislike the hot and humid weather , it affects my mood and concentration .
I'm unable to hear the teacher sometimes cause of the loud fans .
The boys and girls ratio is medium i won't say one consist of more

I just randomly chose this college and I can tell that the college prepares us well for real world applications as it provides us opportunities and chances to take upon by ourselves by providing us internship etc.

The teachers are very friendly and their teaching level is also good and appreciated.
The infrastructure of the college good, probably one of the best in northeast.

A world in college

Likes

I liked that there are many programs and functions.
There are many good facilities in the college and many are underway too
There are also many opportunities given to the students and many collaborations between many colleges and universities in abroad and there are many place made for us to hangout without rush

Dislikes

We…it is obviously expensive especially here in nagaland
There are many fines and collections. If you are absent in the first day than you get a fine . And the fine is quite high especially fi a student
There are many opportunities however not for evereoor might I say the general people. It is not the college fault but …just wanted to put out

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm not sure why I chose this course but yeah I did.....what I am able to tell you is that I was quite a little pushed by people saying that this course would be more important incase I wanted to pursue further studies outside or wanted to appear for civil services .some of the improvements I would like to bring for this curriculum is it would have been better if we were made to study more practically.. maybe bringing some practical learning woul have helped rather than only studying in theory.It would also have been better if the teaching was based on how he/ she wanted the students would have made proper connection rather than being too serious at all times.and I would also have loved it if they would not ask random questions to Radom studies albeit their reluctance I know you want to engage but it makes the students not want to attend the class..... rather you can ask questions and the ones interested can answer you or you can continue on with your class after clarifying your answe

College experience

Likes

The infrastructures of college is good and the facilities provided by the college is just awesome.The teachers are friendly and approachable as compared to other colleges. The college also provide free water which is a must for the students.
As per my observation the campus is clean with a good environment but lacking of bigger environment. To socialize inside the college is more often appropriate as the students and teachers are friendly and ready to help in most of the situations
The college provide placements or the company itself come to college especially for the final year student's. The college also tends to provide interns to some of the students.

Dislikes

The college does not provide ac to each class as the weather here is very hot and the college itself is expensive and lack of ac is a huge disappointment and hence it would be better if they solve this issues and provide it.
Not every students is sociable as some are introverts which make these student's find difficult in making friends or being sociable so it will be better if the college comes with ideas for those student's.
The college infrastructure is good and it is complimentable but there are drawbacks like improper lights and no ac.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose my BBA because i feel that through the course iam opting, it will help me to gain more knowledge. The curriculum really helps me to prepare for any kind of exams be it CAT exams or any kind of competitive exams. As for now there is no suggestions to improve because the teaching methods are well approved and even the course curriculum is good. The timings of colleges exams is good as it goes according to the preferences and timing of the students.

My experience in tetso college

Likes

I liked the infrastructure!! it’s pretty and they provide elevators and cafés for students and the staff
The classroom is spacious ! And we have TV in every classroom
The teachers are friendly and they teach pretty good

Dislikes

The fines !! Always taking fine from the students

Actually i chose my course because i am interested in history And also I didn't expect to choose my minor as mass com but it turned out pretty interesting I like that my confidence level is going up after I joined this college The exam timing is okay (3 hours )but sometimes it's not enough so don't waste time

There are so many things I love about Tetso college. One of the best thing I love will be the great infrastructure.
Another will the qualified teacher and assistant professor. The college provides the best qualified teachers for the students

Due to private college it is very strict

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive covering a wide range of topics and subjects which are very much essential for the academic as well as for the real world applications. The course not just provides the theoretical knowledge but also practical skills through internships which helps the students with professional careers and further studies. The frequency and timing of exams are well structured which also allows an ample amount for time for the preparation. Overall, the course curriculum is generally well-structured.

Insightful world

In arts the eligibility was 45% and above that a student should score in his/her 12th , the application form the application fees are all available in the front desk of the university that is the front office/fee counter. There are always a non- faculty to guide if any students is finding difficulties in filling up the form. For the exam there is a timing for 3hrs in every exams in per semester there is 3 exams and the last one is hard the first exam is CAT1 (continuous assessment test 1) the second is CAT2 (continuous assessment test 2) and the last is end semester exam where in CAT1 and CAT2 we have to study 2 chapter each but at the end semester we have to cover up 5 chapters in each paper.
