Life at HYU Durg

The course curriculum is interesting and relevant. The topics we were taught have all come in handy post completion of the course. Throughout my time at the college, I was never really bored or disillusioned with the subjects or study materials. Exams were regularly held, but it was not very hectic.

The placement scenario can improve, but many students get jobs in decent companies. Genpact, Mphasis, Justdial, Steel mint, Policy Bazaar, Quinox and HGS are just some of the companies who visit the campus.

The course costs 54,000 rupees, which is a fairly feasible amount considering the infrastructure and expertise and everything else. It is also much affordable compared to most other colleges of this stature.

There are sports facilities as well as cultural or technical activities that students can participate in beyond the curriculum. They are a good way to develop hobbies and stress-busters. The gender ratio is healthy and there is no discrimination. The laboratories have good instruments and supervision.

I got admission into this college after applying through their official application portal after completing my 12th board exams. The selection was on the basis of 12th scores only. This university has a good reputation in Chattisgarh, and that prompted me to apply here and take admission after I got onto to the merit list.

The faculty members are qualified as they need to be. They help students understand all the topics properly, and do enough to keep us interested. They had their unique ways of teaching, and were strict when required.
