Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is structured in such a way they are oriented towards management and economics. The curriculum is actually great, many case studies are taught to help us focus on smaller details to keep in track with the innovation and creative thinking.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are good in the college and about 99% students get placed in good companies. Many companies such as HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Utkarsh securities, ICICI Bank, ICICI securities, Indusind Bank, BYJU'S, JustDial etc., are some of them where the students normally get placed in bulk.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is quite expensive to study MBA, but the course outlined in the college is worth every penny utilized. The fees to be paid for a year is almost 2.6 lakhs per year and by the end of the course, it sums up to be 5.2 lakhs INR. The fees will be approximately 6 lakhs with all other miscellaneous fees included.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many bank loan assistance given to students who are really need for it. Some of the banks which they give assistance for are HDFC, ICICI and Axis Bank. Other non-financial institutions, from which they will provide are Auxilo Finserve Banking, etc.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities such as sports and other festivals are celebrated in a grand manner. Many sports like athletics, cricket, football,basketball, etc., are some of the games where there is heavy competition.Many debates, and cultural fest are also celebrated on founder's day of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very strong here. All the alumnus are kept in track with their achievements and the seniors are also very good. All of them help us in all the possible ways whenever we ask a help for them.

Admission

I got my admission based on my scores in 10th , 12th and MAT entrance examination. There are lots of IBS campuses, but I prayed for IBS, Dehradun as its near my home town. I luckily got the admission here through the counselling process where many other IBS campuses also takes part.

Faculty

The faculties are awesome. They are the gods of this college. They teach so well and help us to gain so much of knowledge. The faculties are good and friendly, whom we can approach anytime for all our doubts.

i liked my campus life especially the academic activities in which we were participated , commercio fista was organised by mba students where we installed our own lil shops in the campus and earned
we went for the industrial visits like mother dairy delhi, SEBI noida, KPMG and our batch got so much industrial exposue in my time
Our classes was full air conditioned and for mba students we have sepration seminar hall also we have incubation cell for the new start ups

Dislikes

strict rules for attendance, it should be 75 percent or above

i have done my graduation in 2024, in my 3rd semester placement was started that time our tpo was rajvardhan sir , i called so many companied in the campus for the placement finastra was one of then, i have cleared 3 rounds of finastra 1st was apptitude, then technical round then PI with HR in delhi office in feb 2024 i have got my offer letter and then july i have joined finastra just after my final exams got over, RIT and expecially members of placement are very proactive about their work , after 1 year in 2025 i went again in rit for the alumni meet my experience in rit was very good

A Great Learning Experience with Good Industry Exposure

The college provides a vibrant campus environment with regular events, fests, club activities and opportunities to participate in different extracurricular activities. The overall campus atmosphere is energenic and provides good opportunities to stud
The faculty members are supportive and approchable and the college provides opportunities for students to develop various skills.
I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

Likes

The surroundings are really appreciated .But the only negative thing is tiediness in the campus
My college is very simple and its going in very smooth .Campus gives good feel to the students.Here people from out of state is also there so socially also it is good.
Faculty is also good it contains very highly educated faculty .

Surroundigs untiedness i.e the surroundings not clean
Lots of student union rushh makes the surrounding untiedy.

I choose econmics for my further studies, as I have curiosities to learn more about economics .Real.life examples expalnation influnced me most to learn and study economics. National Eduction Policy boosts the learning power of the students which is improtant for further academic progress.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

A good and big campus area, neat clean from everywhere.
A big library from which you can buy book (library fee: ₹500)
A well maintained computer lab having lots of computer with latest technology.

The classrooms are little bit old and need renovation.

In this college the students are eligible for campus placement in the second last semester of there course, and the companies like wipro,TCS etc gives offers to them. The highest package is 4.5 lac in our college. The percentage of students should be above 60 percent to get a campus placement.

I chose this course because I have done my graduation in Statistics so this Masters's course has improved my profile and given me better opportunities for my career growth. Faculty are well experienced. Professors have done PhD in their domain and have a good amount of experience. Term exams are semester-wise twice a year. It is easy to pass if we study on a daily basis.
