This college is very older .This year our college has completed its 100 years.Teachers are vaery hard working and principal sir is very motivating and helpful. Our college name is satish chandra dhawan govt. College which is the great scientist whose has work with India's president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Sir. This is the proud moment for me that i have got admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college campus is very large. All over college there are many tree so environment is very good. All teachers and faculty members are very hard working. There are many courses in our college and each department has its own place. Very good labs and play grounds are available. Sahir auditorium is here. Sahir ludhiananvi was very famous writer of our college so this auditorium name is sahir auditorium.
Placement Experience
Placement of our college is very good. Many students reaches very high posts. College will get many opportunities like ncc nss and for others talents the home school is also available. Which provides certificate courses to students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Fees structure is good. Scholarships like dr. BR Ambedkar scholarship and National portel Scholarship are also available.
Campus Life
Campus is very large and wide. There are 4 blocks of college A B C and D.there are two canteens.many parks.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel's fees and mess fees is different. Hostel facility is also good. There are three flours. Students who are so far from college will stay in hostel. One thing is very good that hostel of college is in the college campus so students get less difficulty to reach college on time.

Actually I didn't want to do drop after my class 12th like all students of my class were doing but my parents were suggesting me to take a drop and appear for the medical exam but I didn't want to be a doctor so as an alternative I look for a college and I found IISER Mohali best for that.
Placement Experience
The only place where IISER Mohali is lagging behind is in terms of placement as IISER Mohali doesn't offer technical courses so direct placements to companies is not possible the only sector in companies where students can go for is Research and Development Department.

The placement are quite common from the last semester the student become eligible for the placements and many companies appear there.

College management is good, but admission process is outdated as no option for online admission or registration for next year, no option for online fee deposit.

Placement opportunities are very poor. For home science, students' internship opportunities are available in different ways. There is a non-working placement cell. science students get no placement or internship opportunities. This college lacks behind in terms of exposure.

Overall, I have a very good experience with the college in these 3 years and I'm yet to see other aspects of the college. I particularly love the theme parties we organize in the college, like, last month we hosted Italian theme party and our teachers were quite supportive. The area near my college is quite peaceful and so I have a good time, when we are free.

To provide training programs in computers, environmental studies, PTOSS (Punjab Training on Soft Skills) GTT (Global Talent Training) and PDP (Personality Development Program)To facilitate education for rural and financially disadvantaged learners and to impart gender sensitive quality education as per vision 2020.
