Remarks
I choose this college, first of all, it is a government college and fees are very less according to any private College. It is near to my home. Direct admissions were there for BA students. My father wanted me to join this college. It is a very good college, there is also no load on our studies because if we want to go for civil services then there is no load of heavy courses. Teachers also support us in our studies and also give advice for civil services.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I want to go for civil services and government college is most preferred because we get time to study more for any competitive exams. The faculty is also very good they organize workshops and curriculum activities so that we could participate in many activities. Teachers are very qualified no doubt. Exams are timely organized and not very easy question paper but if we study it is very easy.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that offer an internship. Recently there was a company 'bhopu' in which we have to go through different areas and ask about problems they face around them. It is a paid internship for 3 months. There are many more companies which offer both paid and unpaid internship.
Placement Experience
Placement begins during the final semester. Students need to participate in placement drives along with their CVs to be able to showcase their achievements to the companies visit davv every year. Top companies like Accenture, FICO, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and many more companies. 75% of students get placements with good packages. My plans after getting a degree are to give a competitive exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are ok not too high and not too low. There are some problems with the process of scholarship. I don't know very much about jobs.
Campus Life
There were different fest held on our campus like sports, music, dance, among different departments. On 26th January we had a dance competition and in December we had a music competition. In March we had a sports competition. Every month they organize something for us. There are many books in the library. We can issue books if we have a library card. Sports events are also organized, almost all the sports were involved. Competitions like debate, drama, etc are also organized. In the DAVV website, we can get every information.
Hostel Facilities
In-room we have facilities like one cupboard and a bed for one person. Two girls share a room. The bathroom is also in the corridor of room. Food is also very good we get a meal 3 times a day. The registration process is very simple. If we live outside of the city then we can get a hostel. Fees are also not too high. The hostel is located on the campus.
Interview Experience
There were direct admissions for the BA students. So it was easy for me to get admission. We just have to fill the form and submit it to them.
