Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is also very good and having all the related things of records and they managed it very well and the course structure having a very strong focus on the path of the law so we have all the things and library books that we need in the future studies

If I talk about the placement and job opportunities the college is also providing us with the internship so that we can achieve a good experience in the field work so that will help us in the job opportunity and there are lots of placements out there

Fee Structure And Facilities

seventy thousand six hundred rupees is the fee structure you have to give every year and their hostel facilities also available in this college and it is very feasible for my family and it can be bit expensive for and lower middle class family but there are scholarship facilities and also the loan process so you can and do it

Campus Life

The activities like labs sports expected things are very good here where are cold room setup in the college that is very good thing so that we get more information and more interactive knowledge about our future works

Admission

The main thing that made me to choose this college is my interest I was very interested in this field of work so I decided to do the course in NIT and the admission process is very good and very easy you all can have admission in wonderful college

There are amazing faculties and they are also following course structure very well and there are lots of knowledgeable person in the college and very helpful also and they are very qualified and knowing all the things in the field of law

Fixed timetable Classes, regular assessment and class test
The professors are very qualified and their teaching style is excellent.
A lot of books are available in the main library as well as in the department library

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus and curriculum of Calcutta University is aligned with other entrance examination (eg.IIT JAM, JEST, TIFR, GATE etc.) Specially for the Physics BSc course. And the syllabus is updated Artificial intelligence bacis, Python Advance level is in syllabus, it's completed in college. Point to be Noted - The time given to prepare for the exam is sometimes ample but sometimes it is very less. So we have to prepare syllabus in time which is little bit frustrating.

Collage authority is very helpful for students.
If you unable to pay the fees the college account section arrenge something for you.
Some time college reduce some students tusion fees 50% who are belong economical weak . They verify your before giving this fecility.

Dislikes

Some professor behaviour is very bad they don't tell anything to students.

Placement Experience:

This year top placement from mechanical engineering department 96% or average all brunch placement is 80-85%. From 6th semester students eligible for placement. In Hit many company visit like HPL, ICOL,TATA, TCS, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, MAHINDRA, BMW, SUZUKI or many more companies.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Likes

The discipline is followed very strictly.Also you have access to library which is good,teachers are helpful and no ragging policy which is strictly followed and has a decent environment.
Thery conduct seminars which encourages students.Many faculty members are knowledgeable experienced in their respective subjects and helpful willing to solve doubts beyond the classroom also.
The college has decent infrastucture including classrooms,labs and library .

Dislikes

While the curriculum is decent ,it lacks sufficeint practical implementation.More hands on projects,real world application and industry exposure would improve learning significantly.
Campus life can sometimes fell limited in terms of active student interaction.Opportunites for clubs,networking and collaborative activities could be improved.
The college comes under St tHomas School so the campus is not great it is compact and has a canteen.

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The College Life in Burdwan

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Likes

The Framework is said to be great, with well equipped classroom and simply get to the libraries.
The offices at this college are great. In any case, these changes depending on the quality of the companies going by the college and the victory of the internship changes by the internship.
Understudies appreciate the campus life and flexibility to associate with others understudies. However, there are few impediments such as the division of floors between senior and junior. College life is nice and could be an inviting place for others

Dislikes

The college doesn't have lodging, and understudies must organize their settlement locally.
The college doesn't have a big field to play like any other big college

Placement Experience:

In Syamaprasad College placements and internships are given to the final year students. And the companies that offer placements are Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package goes up to 20-24 lakhs and the average package goes to 6-8 lakhs. 70-80% of students get their placement in my college. At that time I planned to get the degree and apply to a multinational company with a high salary package with company facilities.

Likes

Good Infrastructure.One of the best campus.
Living ideal life.Living like Maharaj ji (monks of Ramkrishna mission)
Lab are the one of the best lab.All machines are in working condition .

Dislikes

Canteen food.The canteen food is not good for those who travel far from home.
In raining days roads are flooded.Other time every thing is at its place.
You cannot bunk classes.If you caught by Maharaj ji you will be punished.

Placement Experience:

5th semester students are eligible for the campus interview. The companies are coming in our college is L&T,TATA STEEL,JINDAL GROUP etc. 90% students get placement in our college. Average package is 1.5 LPA and Highest package is 2.5 LPA in our batch. I want to do higher studies.

Firstly the name and the tag of college that is IIT.Around this name only a billions dollar industry is present .
The infrastructure is mix type in college there are some building of British era to some building two three year ago. But they can work on maintaining the heritage of this oldest IIT

Dislikes

There is no coffee shop near central library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I can't judge the curriculum only in one month ,we have two departmental course and three non departmental course,one is advance calculas,one is mechanics and last is physics of waves, . the physics of waves is the hardest I think

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Dislikes

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Since I was looking for 3-Year LL.B (H), my options were already limited as most law colleges in the city offer 5-Year LL.B course. I shortlised Sarsuna Law College, Kolkata Police Law College, Kingston Law College, Sister Nivedita School of Law Although I enquired about the course, I decided against admitting in Kingston Law College as it was very far from my home. I was ineligible for admission in Kolkata Police Law College, as I had no family member (parents) employed in the Kolkata Police. The fee structure of Sister Nivedita School of Law was quite high and against my liking. Sarsuna Law College had a descent fee structure compared to the rest, and also happened to be within reasonable distance from my house. As a result, I took the decision to get admitted in this college. The admission procedure is fairly simple. It is merit-based, as per your overall graduation marks (CGPA). All Admission processes are done online only, the 12th pass or Graduation percentage or CGPA is the mark of merit eligibility.
