Course Curriculum Overview

There are various courses offered by the college. The study material is designed very well. We have to be regular with the study material and its really very helpful and appear in the annual/semester examination held in June/December.We have to submit the assignments 2 months before the exam in the form of mini project contains 40-50 pages which is of 30 marks. The remaining 70 marks is for annual/semester examination.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is no such direct placement and Internships as I am doing a correspondence course. But the courses that I have done with helped a lot in my jobs. It broadened the opportunities for me and only by adding this course to my degree, I have got ample of new opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The cost of the course is very much affordable .Anyone can afford this and grasp this wonderful opportunity by taking the courses at their home .It costs a total of around 7,000 per year and an additional exam fees of 250 per subject.

Campus Life

As mentioned I am from a correspondence program so there is no such extracurricular activity that I can enjoy as a college student . I didn't got the opportunity to get through those interesting daily life activities and those lectures and seminars .

Admission

There is no such complicated admission process . The candidates have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. They have to just fill the form , attach the mark sheets with all the necessary documents and speed post it.

Faculty

4.5

Since I am admitted in the correspondence program so their is no direct student faculty sessions and lectures. All the study related things come through post . It is dispatched on timely and it contains all the relevant things required for overall knowledge. The study materials are very good and are written in very simple words so it is very easy for us to grasp everything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ever since I was a kid I was always interested in studying history. Infact it was my favourite thing to study. I took up this course because It's fun to study history. As an aspirant taking up history helps me to be more aware of the dates and names for the competitive exams. I think there are no improvements or changes to be made in this course as the lectures teaches so well. If you are taking history as your honors then I suggest you to study everyday and not wait for the last moment as this course is very vast and not easy for one night preparation

Placement Experience:

There was a very organised department which was solely engaged in the placement and related services for the members of different courses and the placement cell was knowledgeable. The university admission cell plays a significant role since the training and placement committee is responsible for all aspects of the placement process and also assists with it. The batch's top compensation package was over 12 LPA.

Remarks:

It's packed with the best faculty and also it's the nearest college from where I stay. It has an amazing environment and noise pollution free. It's easy to find transportation also. The college has a lot of extra curriculum activities and provides even counseling. I took up Sociology because I grew up believing I would become a social worker. The college has also produced a good number of toppers and is considered one amongst the most cleanest college in Kohima.
