Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good it covers the basics of management , and also it gives in-depth knowledge of management accompanied with experiential learning, it is designed in such a way that it offers a platform to acquire both hard and soft skills.

Placement Experience

Almost 100% of the students from our course got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got an internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The overall fee for my course is 2.27 lakh , the fee is not expensive and it is feasible only , it is one of the reputed colleges in the country , in that college this amount is feasible . apart from education we also learn many things.

Campus Life

our college offers many internships , and our college also conducts many national and international seminars. Our college encourages students participating in sports and other extracurricular activities.

Admission

MLCU entrance was conducted by the college management and I cleared this exam with high percentage . So that i have got easily placed in this college . After completing my 12th examination I started preparing for this entrance exam.

Teachers here are genuine and very helpful. They would reach out through emails and calls if necessary, and they encourage creativity. All of them are not equally qualified. The teaching technique essentially is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant and definitely makes students ready for industry.

A review of NEHU, Shillong, from a 1st Year BTech Student

Likes

The environment is extremely beautiful (naturally)
Climate is the best i can think of; always cool, but never too cold)
Some teachers are very nice and genuinely interested to help you grow

Dislikes

Internships are extremely low; the few ones who come are not good
Placement rate is very bad, and average package is extremely bad too
Lot of corruption; missuse of funds everywhere, affecting the places where actual development is needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course might be one of the best courses in yhr University, if not the best. Placement rate, comparative to other courses, is the highest as of what I know. The curriculum dhould be improved. Lot of unnecessary subjects, that too with a lot of credits. The important subjects are just taught at the basic level, which should be way higher. The exam frequency and timings are good. But they are way too easy.

Likes

Very Cold, very good environment, shillong is famous for its environment
This Nehu is under shillong municipality so yes this under the city. Only 5km away from the main center police bazar.
All market supermarket, cafes, resturant, all the things is under the campus.

Dislikes

Campus is too big,,,,u may have to walk walk and walk...u may opt cycle or bike or scooter
In winter shillong gets too cold around 2* C soo.....in this cold it is very hard to study....u need a heater... something water turns into ice

Placement is good about 85% got placement from on campus. On campus placement range is from 6 to 8 Lpa .. Off campus placement goes upto 18Lp... Medtronic, Ge healthcare, philips, Biocon, many govt companies etc come

classes are always held on time with a punctual routine
teachers are strict and sincere and provide materials
food of the canteen is very delicious of it's kind

Dislikes

due to the non-availability of co-ed since it's an all girls college
canteen's food can add a variety of other delicacies
inclusivity of every gender being a all girls college

i've always had a passion for literature and it's musings so i guess english has always been close to home and my intellect. The curriculum makes me well known to the real world. There aren't any necessary improvements as per my perspective. The level of difficulty is moderate except it prepares every student to get out of one's comfort zone

The ambiance of the college and its location.

The placement drive begins for students from their second year of college. Companies like HDFC, TATA, Flipkart etc came to our college Around 5-10% students get placement every year After my degree i plan to go into the reseach field by cracking the CSIR NET exam.

Remarks:

Location and it was affordable. The teaching staff was well qualified and the fee structure was very well balanced for a middle class like me. Also the university provides transportation and have other co curricular activities that was upto the mark.

Admission:

The admission process in our depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination. After qualifying my higher secondary examination with 75 percent of marks, i took admission in this course. Students who cleared their 12 th standard from science stream was eligible to get admission.

Remarks:

The college is good. But as it is in the temporary campus there are lots of hardships. But the faculties are good and they help as much as they can. But labs are small so not an ideal place to come for research works.

The admission process was quiet easy and convenient. We go to the university website and through online, we registered and pay the required amount. With that the admission was done. The admission process in Martin Luther Christian University is very good because I apply it online .
