Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite defined and categorized in a very positive expression to inculcate a well-being understanding of forthcoming pedagogy and a spiritual amass too. The course is mathematical sufficiently to bring a researched-based study for the novices who want to maintain teaching further. Exams and labs are put up with oftentimes to trace the intellectual accomplishment of learners.

Placement Experience

2.5

There are no placements or jobs are offered by the institution for the learners. Actually, they are focused on on-increment practical knowledge for the students, they have sessions on webinars, seminars, or guest lectures by the expert teams.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the institution is feasible according to me and my family economical status. This is a 2 years course of B.Ed I had chose and the few hierarchies per year are Rs. 40,000INR and the available seats for the learners are 50 approximately on the campus.

Campus Life

My foundation doesn't only concentrate on developing forthcoming educators but also helps us inculcate a personality to be fit and effective. Indoor and outside entertainment installations are well competent and strengthened. Providing disclosure to talented youngsters is also an important intention of the institute. Co-curricular like singing, dancing, etc are provided the interest to make learners contribute in careers other than of intellectuals.

Admission

The admission procedure commences by authorizing through the excellence list and getting shortlisted by the college for admission and the documents are asked to be deposited by the learner before counseling or selection on the campus.

Faculty

4.5

The adequate assistance is furnished to all the learners by the technological faculty of the institute where each and every educator is effective to broaden extraordinary assistance and guidance to every individual follower.

Fixed timetable Classes, regular assessment and class test
The professors are very qualified and their teaching style is excellent.
A lot of books are available in the main library as well as in the department library

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus and curriculum of Calcutta University is aligned with other entrance examination (eg.IIT JAM, JEST, TIFR, GATE etc.) Specially for the Physics BSc course. And the syllabus is updated Artificial intelligence bacis, Python Advance level is in syllabus, it's completed in college. Point to be Noted - The time given to prepare for the exam is sometimes ample but sometimes it is very less. So we have to prepare syllabus in time which is little bit frustrating.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Likes

The discipline is followed very strictly. Also you have access to library which is good, teachers are helpful and no ragging policy which is strictly followed and has a decent environment.
Thery conduct seminars which encourages students. Many faculty members are knowledgeable experienced in their respective subjects and helpful willing to solve doubts beyond the classroom also.
The college has decent infrastucture including classrooms, labs and library .

Dislikes

While the curriculum is decent ,it lacks sufficeint practical implementation.More hands on projects, real world application and industry exposure would improve learning significantly.
Campus life can sometimes fell limited in terms of active student interaction.Opportunites for clubs, networking and collaborative activities could be improved.
The college comes under St tHomas School so the campus is not great it is compact and has a canteen.

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The College Life in Burdwan

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

The Framework is said to be great, with well equipped classroom and simply get to the libraries.
The offices at this college are great. In any case, these changes depending on the quality of the companies going by the college and the victory of the internship changes by the internship.
Understudies appreciate the campus life and flexibility to associate with others understudies. However, there are few impediments such as the division of floors between senior and junior. College life is nice and could be an inviting place for others

Dislikes

The college doesn't have lodging, and understudies must organize their settlement locally.
The college doesn't have a big field to play like any other big college

Placement Experience:

In Syamaprasad College placements and internships are given to the final year students. And the companies that offer placements are Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package goes up to 20-24 lakhs and the average package goes to 6-8 lakhs. 70-80% of students get their placement in my college. At that time I planned to get the degree and apply to a multinational company with a high salary package with company facilities.

I always wanted to go in the field of education so that I could share my knowledge with the children. In this college, the admission is based on merit only. The marks of the last qualifying exams are considered here. Basically, one has to fill up an online application form which is available on the college's website and after that the merit list is put up. This is followed by a councelling session in which all the documents including the application form is submitted. Later on, the fees are paid and the admission process is completed....Read More
