Since I chose an off-beat topic for my graduation, I was not really aware as to what to expect from college life! I was pleasantly surprised by my whole experience there, across 4 years. I learnt a lot and gained a lot of love!
Course Curriculum Overview
The Dairy Technology course is a 4-year one. Apart from routine engineering subjects like Engineering Workshop and Thermodynamics, we also have the subjects pertaining to our course like- dairy process engineering and dairy machine design.
Placement Experience
Much better than before! In our batch, almost 75% people got placed and the range of packages were between Rs 18,000 per month and Rs 25,000 per month. Even DRDO and Bank of Baroda came for campussing!
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee charged is nominal since the university is Government sponsored. In fact, Kamdhenu University gets almost Rs 1814 lakhs every year to use for student and community welfare. So students need not pay much!
Campus Life
We host cultural and sporting events all year round- Teacher's Day in September, Gandhi Jayanti in October, etc. Apart from that, we also hold seminars on women empowerment and food fests on our campus annually.
Admission
The only way to take admission in Kamdhenu University is through the GUJCET exam. However, to apply you need to have passed your 10+2 with at least 40%. Using these two, the university will start the counselling process to determine suitable candidates.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is qualified and most professors are very enthusiastic while delivering their lectures. They also try to instill in us practical knowledge about the field so we can perform our future jobs well.
