Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus have been modified in such a manner that a student gets all basics knowledge in different fields like Programming, Business Intelligence, Graphics, Animation, E-commerce, User Interface, java, C, C++, Unix. Maths is included for 4 semesters. Along with Statistics 2 semesters, followed by Accounts next 2 semesters. English is arranged according to IT need.

Placement Experience

Being in the final year I would say, Placements are of a good help. We had companies like EY, L&T, Wipro, Facebook, and many other comapnies. Starting package of any company in Rishihood is 3.5L per Annum. So far this year highest placed was 6.5L pa. Many more companies to come. For placement, the important criteria is not to have a back paper. So work hard from 1st semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For BCA, its 70000 as of now. I would say it is feasible compared to other private colleges. We have Both girls and boys hostel in the campus and with all facilities( luxury) We have 28 stalls for food. With all kinds of taste, north Indian, south Indian, Chinese, Thailand, Tibetan, snacks, fruits stall, etc.

Campus Life

We have very friendly campus with multi cultured students coming various parts of our country and also outside country. Any where you see, you can find a gang of girls and boys in the campus. There is always a energetic vibration in the campus. BCA students are usually in the class with the laptop. We have freshers party, students mingle well, There is no discrimination in any sort. We do have rules that Dress code are strictly to be followed.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year Alumni's meet takes place frequently for various purposes. We have a strong alumni support when it comes to career guidance, general advice, stress relief. They are so friendly and they make time for us when we approach them regarding any issue or help.

Admission

BCA does not require any entrance exam to pass. I choose BCA to have a good foundation to enter the world of IT. I chose it in Rishihood University because of the exposure and advancement in syllabus.

Faculty

Faculty are a little tough time to handle, cz some of them are very moody and donot talk much. They are very reserved but some of them are really student friendly and can help you out throughout. Overall they are good in teaching.

Amity University Gurgaon is a good option

Likes

The campus is modern and has a nice vibe.
The environment is good for learning and exploring creativity.
The infrastructure and overall college atmosphere are impressive.

Dislikes

The fees are quite high compared to many other colleges.
More practical exposure and industry projects would be helpful.
Placement details and internship opportunities could be communicated more clearly.

Placement Experience:

Placements in interior design depend a lot on your skills, creativity, and portfolio. Amity Gurgaon could provide opportunities to explore internships and connect with professionals in the industry. After completing the course, I would like to work with an interior design firm, gain practical experience, and eventually build my own identity in the field. I feel that developing strong design skills and gaining industry exposure will be important for my career.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Science in amity

Likes

Labs and classrooms are very clean and sanitized.there is proper discipline maintained in the university.
Safety of students is their primary concern and they make sure that every student studying in amity university is safe .
There is no ragging issue in amity university haryana.there is heavy penalty for this offence. Amity university gurugram is ragging free university.

Dislikes

Nothing is there which i disliked about it.

Placement Experience:

Good placement with an average package of around 5lakhs with good companies taking students having knowledge and confidence . That is what amity university focuses on you ability to be the best in your fields and excel.

Well lighted classrooms , with full air conditioned

Attendance system is not good , 75 % attendace is not good , it is so strict , which is not good

Overall good experience in Amity University Haryana

Likes

The professors are very knowledgeable and supportive.
Internship opportunities are of wide range and students can freely choose according to their interest.
The infrastructure, library is exceptional. The outlets inside the campus are useful too.

Placement Experience:

Placement process from the beginning of 2nd year itself. Hospitals like Fortis, Medanta, max visit. And companies like Mankind, Ozone do too. Average package for hospitals is 4LPA 100% students get placed. I'm planning to pursue Phd after this.

Postive and rewarding collage experience

Likes

There are many criculam activities head in the college through club help you too learn many things
Teacher's have friendly nature and described and teaches more politely
Peace fully environment of the campus and the decoram of the college

Dislikes

Academic pressure and stresss and heavy work load of classes assignment
Slow and unreliable wifi and something the lost of network
University is located in rural areas creates the problem of transportation

The college provides the decent recruitments opportunity thoughts the complete campus over different placements in the different sectors which help the student to encourage and get the participation at the industry to teach good things

Newton School of Technology Rishihood Campus

In the first i had applied to colleges like PES , VIT, Manipal, BITS, and bunch of private colleges in Bengaluru.But when i was giving the entrance exams for all this. But around January of 2024, I came across Newton School of Technology on youtube, and as someone who loves computer science, I instantly fell in love with the course because of how relevant it is to the industry. In the other colleges they have subjects like physics and chemistry,but NST does not have any of the subjects, we directly dived into coding making it much better for students to start early. I did have a lot of rejections from other college like bits, PES. I did not make it there because I was weak in chemistry and maths in the JEE standard. To talk about the admission process of the college. You first take an online exam and once you pass that you take an in person one-one interview which will determine if you got in or not. You also receive scholarships. Im not really sure about the cutoffs but you have to get roughly 6 out of 10 in the watered down marks....Read More
