Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good and updated . The course curriculum was based on gurugram university course curricuum. It consist of 5 to 6 subjects each semester. The course curriculum can be updated based on new technologies that are coming into market

Placement Experience

The placements of my college were average. Yes companies come in the college but it can be more improved . The college hs dedicate placement cell which share job opportunities daily through whatsapp group. Interested students can fill the google form

Fees and Financial Aid

We have total 8 semesters . We have to submit our fees semester wise . The total fees of one year was 1 lakh 20 thousand . Now it has increased to 1 lakh 60 thousand per year. At my time the compete fess of my course was 5 lakh

Campus Life

My overall campus experience at dce was satisfactory. The college provides decent academic environment although there is scope for improvement in social activities and student engagement. The college offers opportunities to interct with different students of different branches

Admission

I choose dronacharya college of engineering because it aligned with my course preference, course price and location.The college curriculum provides structured theoretical and practical subjects.The admission process involves selecting course and submitting relevant documents and fees

Faculty

The faculty members were generally supportive, knowledgeable and approachable. Most teachers have good subject knowledge. The Btech couurse structure consists of 8 semesters. Exams are held twice or thrice in a semester

Night Life

The nightlif around dce was quiet compared to other colleges located in gurugram. There are no malls, cafes and famous places to visit near college. for entertainment, cafes and malls students need to travel to gurugram

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - worth it in the big 26 ?

Likes

The variety of food, books and lush green gardens
The quiet and pleasant places carved feels like home
No need to rush things the warmth in the air and the affordable rates

Dislikes

Due to rural surroundings often things like traffic jams and riots happen
Langauge barriers do occur sometimes but its okay now
Attendance criteria is strict and on-off campus roaming is a little hard

Placement Experience:

Around 4th year 7th semester students are well prepared and ready to go into companies for more insights and experience. Companies like Kia, Indigo, Hero, Honda are quite active in selecting students from our department. After the degree ill prolly do my masters and then ill look fir a job

Campus is very big and many things to explore
We have Good infrastructure and sports grounds
There are many canteens and varieties of food available

Location is not on road it is back side of a village
College is till 5 pm in evening and it gets very hectic

The curiculam is quite good and classes are placed accordingly we have good break in between and its quite enjoyable to attend college regularly The fest and programs are amazing it is good for a student

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Placements are available for final year and June and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester companies from it software and management sectors visit the campus placements opportunity at Decent with package wearing according to company and student scale I plan to build a strong technical skills so internship and projects and aim for a good job in aml field after graduation

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

I didn't applied for any other college as it is close to my home.
