Course Curriculum Overview
It is a five year course in which we are taught core subjects like Sociology, Arts/Humanities, History, Political Science , International and constitutional law etc.Apart from these theory subjects we are also provided with practical training's such as case studies, moot court sessions, law internships and research work.The main focus is to equip the students in such a way that we think practically whenever any legal situation arises.After the completion we would be in drafting legal documents with precision after having a good knowledge about the Indian laws.
Placement Experience
Internship is a mandatory requirement for our course.We have to do internships at various offices where law is in practice such as Law firms, NGOs, Legislatures and parliaments, Trial and Appellate Tribunals etc. The stipend for these internships can vary from 7000 to 15000 per month.Last year top companies like SNS group of institutes , Sagar Associates , Anand&Anand , Shardul Amarchand etc visited our campus and selected a pool of candidates for top roles.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fees for one semester is 1,75000. You have to deposit an admission fees of 15,000 at the start of the foundation course.The total for one year comes down to 4.5 L after including all the other charges .The fees structure is little bit expensive but the with the facilities that they have provided us is just commendable.
Campus Life
Mega Moot is held in our college which begins with 42 teams which includes around 200 mooters. They go through rounds in order to claim the mega moot trophy. SWAGAT is a program which is conducted by the university at the start of new freshers joining the college.We are split into multi age groups which later compete over various indoor and outdoor games.Our college system also permits us to introduce to special elective courses such as dance, music, singing, culinary art, baking, painting, casting etc.
Hostel Facilities
Each student of our college is provided with i pads at the time of admissions to carry out research seminars and markup notes for journal discussions.The college has prepared i books for its students to guarantee advanced learning and understanding.The hostels are fully furnished with a wide range of availability such as almirah for personal belongings, attached bathrooms , bed-sheets , WiFi facility etc.The mess & canteen food is quite good and different kinds of dishes are prepared every day according to the mess timetable.
Admission
You need to at least score 60% marks in your 12th examination to be eligible for admission in this college.Apply online and fill in the necessary details.I had my name in the second merit list as I have secured 68% in my boards. Thereafter I was called for group discussion round. After that I was granted admission in the college.
Faculty
The teachers of this college are very supportive and inspire the students in working hard and achieving our goals.They keep the class sessions as interactive and lively as possible so that the students feel free to share their doubts . We are also provided with assignments and the faculty members are a little bit strict when it comes to the deadline of submission.Overall all the teachers are really helpful and experienced.
