Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very flexible and we've been taught in a way that both training and theory and exams are also conducted regularly to make us learn better. It made me better at dance and was a great help to me.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college is really nice and a lot of internship opportunities are offered to the students. The stipend is also provided on a monthly basis which can reach upto Rs 1 Lakh if we are consistent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the BA course is Rs 2010 and I think it's very cheap and affordable. Those who are really passionate about performing arts can take this option as you'll be getting a lot of exposure in such a less price!

Campus Life

As the college is based on arts, we usually were participants in various cultural festivals that take place. The campus is also full of positive energy and one usually faces a healthy competition which helps everyone to grow.

Admission

The admission is based on an entrance test and an interview is also conducted. Students who are interested in taking up admission can fill up the online application form. Dance was my passion and I wanted to have a career in it.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is really experienced and have been following performing arts for a long time now. They were always available and took classes at flexible timings. I'm still in touch with most of my teachers.

Experiences so far

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . The sacrifices of students

Likes

The teachers and the classrooms. The facilities of yhe college also good
The teachers are very friendly and cares about students
The facilities like all the classes are smart

Dislikes

The hostel is too bad in the college very bad and the bathroom and toilet are very cleanless like indian railway
The food of the hostel is too bad we can get flies from the food
Some teachers are not studying proper they are just reading books and not explains

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i heard that this course gives us many opportunity after graduation like in translation and we will able to speak arabic well. The teaching method was good but not now. Now all teachers are only reading books in classrooms The semester exams were between 3 months now from this academic year it will in 6 months

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

My dear college

Likes

I liked the atmosphere the college offers and the facilities for studying
The sports facilities are pretty good considering the supplements they have
The library got my attention since it has alot of books and its the centre of attraction of the college

Dislikes

The college doesn't provide any placements and job opportunities
The college doesn't provide any pool options for swimming lessons
Teachers get changed every now and then this makes the continuity of the lessons very hard

Course Curriculum Overview:

The social service got my eyes on this course. The intention of creating the mentality of helping others by social service made me join the course. This course provides a great service towards the betterment of future and people in it.

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement
