Remarks

The objective of our college is to promoter the acquisition of knowledge and to contribute to the improvement of the education system so that a candidates skills are upgraded in the field of research, technology, innovation and discoveries of human endeavor. Other than that the college campus in located in the main campus of Kakatiya University including the admin and academic block. The teachers of this college are well trained and help the students if they are facing any difficulty. Overall I would highly recommend this college to anyone who desire to be a professional in his/her field of study.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a three year program divided into six semesters. This course covers all the aspects related to computer right from the basics of the computer database system and advanced courses like Java, C++.We can become a computer scientist or networking specialist who can ensure smooth working of cyber security systems, LAN & WAN, manage system designing and look after the hardware & software upgrading.

Placement Experience

4.5

Top companies like TCS, HDFC bank, Reliance, Barclays, E&Y etc visited our campus this year and selected a pool of candidates. The highest package offered was 11 lpa and the average was 5 lpa. Summer internships were also given to students who want to work and gain some experience. The stipend for the same was 10,000 per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for one year is 18,350 which is quite feasible. You need to deposit and additional amount of registration and security deposit amount which is non refundable at the start of the foundation course. This fees mentioned above does not include hostel & mess facilities.

Campus Life

We have a personal contact programme to help the students with some sort of orientation & guidance regarding the methodology of learning. The student grievance cell is created to arrange replies which is written by the college students to seek various other information. We have many social programme organised such as medical aid camps, Blood donation program, free legal aid services, NSS, environment cleaning camps etc. Many kinds of outdoor and indoor activities also conducted at our college.

Admission

The application can be filled online on the college website.Admission procedure to the said course are strictly done on merit.85% of the seats are reserved for the local candidates and the other 15% is available to students on merit basis.33% seats are reserved for the women candidates to encourage more women participation in the field of education. Luckily I got my name in the second merit list an d was granted admission in the college.

Faculty

The faculty of the college are well qualified and experienced who teach the students simultaneously belonging to regular streams in order to impart them with practical and theoretical knowledge about the discipline. The academic counselor of our college also us in learning the regional language .Any doubt asked is never unanswered on their part.Overall I would say that the teachers are very supportive and helpful.

PRIP - A green safe research-focus pharmacy institute in Hyderabad

Likes

Green campus, its safe for all. PRIP is well connected and has a good learning culture. Professors encourage to pursue higher educationa and dream big.
Cafetaria, librabry and cleanliness is there at PRIP
They invest in technology and AI, it has a VR simulation lab and innovation center which has the latest pharma machines

Dislikes

Sometimes we feel it can get more bright
teachers are friendly, but i think they should focus on English as a language inside campus. It will prepare us for industry
digital labs should be used more and should be used for personal non-pharmacy learning on linkedin for networking and exposure. we have skill development but it can be more applied.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good. we have tie-ups in many good companies like HEtero, Aurbindo Pharma, AIG, Northpharm, Intrachem, Analys Labs, Medplus.... They also give workshops and training session. PRIP Placement cell is very dedicated in getting all of us placed. Packages is also decent and industry average

Life of an graduating person

Likes

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

NIAT - where learning and growing is fun

Likes

The teaching style and focus on practicals
More emphasis is given on coding and attending hackathons
Mentors and their constant support In building projects

Dislikes

The strict rules and pressure is real and can be frustrating sometimes
The infrastructure can be a bit better, like the building and space for games
There's very less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good
