One of the best colleges in Gurgaon

The students of DPG maintained proper discipline in the college. The crowd was great! I made some lifelong friends. I also got a platform to go ahead and participate in different cultural events as well as different types of sports and inter-college fests. I am very thankful to DPG for giving me memories and experiences.

The course curriculum is exceptionally well-planned. Internal assessments, practical exams, and theory exams take place semester-wise and we have ample time to prepare. It is pretty chill with a sturdy learning infrastructure.

Mostly the students who score well get placed easily in big companies with great packages. Students in my batch got placed in good companies with an average package of Rs. 15,000/month. Though, the college doesn't offer internships to the students. The average package offered was 3.5 lakhs per annum in my time.

There are various events that take place throughout the year. It kept us alive, I swear! We had our annual cultural fest that had Haryanvi dance performances, plays, skits, etc on the basis of the theme of the fest. We also had farewell parties every year namely ?Hasta-la Vista? for the graduating batch which was organized by the department at the college campus. Also, we celebrated festivals like Lohri, Diwali, Holi, etc in college with great enthusiasm.

The fee structure of DPG may not be really feasible for every student. The total fees for my course B. Com. was ? 1.05 lakh for 3 years which was comparatively high but the exposure and the opportunities I got was really worth it! So, if money is not the problem, DPG is the best college for Commerce in Gurgaon.

Yes, scholarships are offered by our college to the student who performs well in exams. After acquiring the scholarship, there will be a reduction in the student?s college fees for the next years. There are specific guidelines regarding scholarships so to know more about it, you should contact the college office.

Students actively participate in extracurricular activities like G.D. Goenka ?Acceleron fest?, and many more. There are various competitions such as face-painting, treasure hunt, solo dance, rangoli, group dance, singing, debate, etc which give students an opportunity to take a break from studies and have some fun! Students also participated in inter-college events. Besides these, the labs are very well-maintained. Students have access to all kinds of sports as there is a basketball court, football ground, volleyball court, tennis court, and all kinds of indoor games too.

The hostel facility is actually great. There are wardens to take care of the students. The rooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned with WiFi facilities. The mess food is also very nice and hygienic.

I applied to DPG online on its official website. Students who are willing to apply can do it online as well as offline with the documents required. Admission is fully based on merit-basis or the marks obtained in 10+2. The merit lists are released on the college?s website, so you have to keep checking for your name on the lists.

I am proud to say that I belonged to such an excellent institution where teachers showered us with the knowledge that helped us moved forward in our careers. The faculty of college consists of highly qualified and experienced teachers who were such good mentors to all of us. They provided us the right knowledge and inculcated a sense of confidence in us. I am really thankful to all the teachers.
