Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of B.com is fine but lengthy which requires being more attentive to score good grades. The course is divided into semester systems to understand it in a more proper way and develop a better understanding.

Placement Experience

There are no placements in b.com course students have to look for their own opportunities to build their career or they can pursue further studies in order to grow more and fulfill their future prospects.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the b.com course is very feasible. It costs me around 40,000 which includes tuition fees, examination fees, and application charges are additional from fees also there are no hidden charges which can be trouble for students in the long run.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities include sports activities such as cricket, basketball, handball, etc. We additionally take part in social awareness campaigns, volunteer for environmental awareness, and more.

Admission

The admission in b.com is regulated through the merit list along with students who must have 50% of marks to enroll in the college. The mode of application is online which is additionally payable and submit all the relevant at the time of admission.

Faculty

The faculties of the college are extra-ordinary talent and possess great knowledge of the subjects. They have been teaching for 10 years which makes learning more easier and also we can understand the depth of every subject.

A review of NEHU, Shillong, from a 1st Year BTech Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course might be one of the best courses in yhr University, if not the best. Placement rate, comparative to other courses, is the highest as of what I know. The curriculum dhould be improved. Lot of unnecessary subjects, that too with a lot of credits. The important subjects are just taught at the basic level, which should be way higher. The exam frequency and timings are good. But they are way too easy.

Remarks:

Location and it was affordable. The teaching staff was well qualified and the fee structure was very well balanced for a middle class like me. Also the university provides transportation and have other co curricular activities that was upto the mark.

Admission:

The admission process in our depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination. After qualifying my higher secondary examination with 75 percent of marks, i took admission in this course. Students who cleared their 12 th standard from science stream was eligible to get admission.

Life at NIT MEGHALAYA

Remarks:

The college is good. But as it is in the temporary campus there are lots of hardships. But the faculties are good and they help as much as they can. But labs are small so not an ideal place to come for research works.

My review on my college

I applied for other colleges such as Shillong Commerce and St Anthony's College and it was confirmed that I will get admission in Shillong Commerce as long as I paid the fees as for St Anthony's College it was not confirmed.I chose Shillong College instead of the other two because I was sure that I was going to get the admission bin this college and it is also cheaper as compared to the others as it is a government college. I got in one of the college but the other it was not confirmed.The admission is mostly online along with the fees.The students are eligible for this college if they got a 45% or above .There are no exam required for students and the admission went quite smoothly....Read More
