Remarks

I myself being experiencing really good days where I am getting a chance of exposure and better confidence because of the college would not like to give any negative remarks to the college. Briefly I would say you can totally trust upon the college for getting a quality education focused on not just academics but allover development.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of three years affiliation of the college is with university of burdwan. The course is structured semistar wise. And is focused with enhancing our skill in English and the course make us focus on effective communication skills in English, Critical thinking etc.

Placement Experience

The college have a placement or guidence cell which is to help students to guide us regarding our career options available for us after completion of our course and also provide training for better recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of my college being a government college is very economical or cost effective. The allover amount of fees which we have to pay in total of the course is Only Rs. 6,100/- and scholarships are also provided by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college brings up various opportunities for scholarships as being a government college various government scholarships schemes are available based on the background or academic excellence of the students.

Campus Life

Neither I have ever received of a news of a student being treated unequally or being discriminated because of there religion or cast or gender etc. Nor I myself have experienced it till now, all of us are treated as equal and are been provided with equal respect. We also have a playground where various extracurricular activities are conducted by the college on regular basis and we can also play during our free time.

Admission

I am doing Bachelor of Arts [BA] (English) in this college and the basic eligibility criteria for the admission is to be qualified with minimum 45% in the qualifying year (10+2) from a recognised board. The application for admission can be filled online.

The faculty is really good. They help us well in improving our English with providing us practical knowledge via giving us assignments and proper oral English communication with students. All of them are well qualified they have done masters or M.phil.

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Dislikes

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

About 67% of the students of Bankura district took admission in our course here. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and there was no internship criterion. However, I suggest every student to take admission in this college to learn mathematics better than other colleges of Bankura district. Infrastructure: All facilities are available in this college. The food is served, and students will surely have a healthy lifestyle here. Medical store, sports, canteen and games facilities are available on the Mahavidyalaya campus.
