Course Curriculum Overview
The PhD research was three years long and included all kinds of researches related. The curriculum was so designed that the students could practise their respective researches very flexibly. The presentations and related meetings were organised at the end of every month where we had a meeting. The examinations were conducted forget throughout the semesters.
Placement Experience
The jobs were arranged at the end of last year, it was a research field so all the stories got placed and many opted to teach in the same college itself.Various agricultural branches like Indian agricultural research, rice and green Corporation and other firms came to interview. The selection was on the basis of self merit with an average package of Rs.12 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was feasible around Rs.50,000 approximately for a year and could be submitted as demand draft, card payments, other modes of online payments but no cash was accepted. The excursion, the guest, accommodation, transportation, other fee were not included in this.
Campus Life
The campus was beautiful and heart 24 seven working laboratories and libraries for the students to perform their researches. We could relax at the college playground and play sports like cricket, football and had extra co-curricular activity clubs including music and arts. There were more boys than girls at the campus coming from different backgrounds but it was a friendly environment.
Admission
The admission was on the basis of graduation and I applied to this college through their official website. I was called upon the campus for my interview and was asked about the research and my academic merit and got selected for the course.
Faculty
The faculty was very helpful and guided us all along the curriculum. They were very polite and humble to the students, they shared their experiences and helped us in our respective fields. They arranged guest lectures and excursion trips for the students to explore better.
