Remarks
College was good, various facilities such as library for better educational environment was available. The teachers was well qualified and experienced . & my mates and seniors was very helpful to me. & almost all have always have always believed in team work. It was worth doing my graduation from here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was an undergraduate three years divided in 6 Semistars programme focused in enriching us with all the knowledge related to English literature and improving our linguistic skills through both theoretical lessons and practical sessions.
Placement Experience
Placements cell was good. We have been provided with career guidence or councelling by college. Which helped us a lot with various opportunities we could get after completion of our course from the college. However placements opportunities from on campus was limited.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was easily affordable be it anyone belonging from any background. The total amount of fees that was paid in three year duration of the course was INR 8,100-8,200 including of tution, admission, registration or other fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships opportunities was provided by the Government, the college itself did private funding for meritions students. full free and half free studentship is offered by the college. & many other scholar opportunities was available.
Campus Life
Many extracurricular activities or Cocurricular use to take place in my college for the purpose of knowledge, entertainment and physical activities such as annual sports event, both outdoor and indoor games like cricket, football, caroom table tanis etc.
Admission
The admission was merit based and the eligibility critieria fo admission was to pass in the qualifying examination (10+2) with minimum of 50% from west Bengal. And students from others states could only take admission after showing there nativity certificate at the time of counselling. I chose to persue Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (English) from here as I always had this passion in me to be something such as a teacher or a writer of English.
Faculty
Faculty was well qualified bunch of teachers with years of experience. & well skilled in teaching students effectively as by emerging there interest and focus. They were also very humble and amiable by nature.
