Remarks

The college provides quality education, in short, I like everything about the college, one of the best college, highly recommended. You will get exposure and experience many things make sure to make friends so that you will get to experience college life to the fullest.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was good. Satisfied with the faculties, the efforts they put in to make the syllabus easier for us and understandable was commendable. They provided us with study materials and was always available for help. All the teachers of BCom afternoon shift are very good ma'am ID, ma'am AS ma'am AM. And they take us for industrial visit not often tho just once or twice

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

There was no placement opportunities in our batch because of the covid-19 pandemic only two companies came before the pandemic and few people got selected.

College Events

I had the best college life in this institution. It provided everything and I didn't missed out to grab all the opportunities. There are many social events like freshers party, farewell, hostel shows, and the most awaited college week etc etc

Campus Life

Sports facilities was ok, only basketball coach is available for other sports you have to practice yourself with friends. Free Wi-Fi is available and the library is also quite good you will get all the related to your course and other extra books as well, weekly magazines, monthly magazines, newspapers etc

A review of NEHU, Shillong, from a 1st Year BTech Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course might be one of the best courses in yhr University, if not the best. Placement rate, comparative to other courses, is the highest as of what I know. The curriculum dhould be improved. Lot of unnecessary subjects, that too with a lot of credits. The important subjects are just taught at the basic level, which should be way higher. The exam frequency and timings are good. But they are way too easy.

Remarks:

Location and it was affordable. The teaching staff was well qualified and the fee structure was very well balanced for a middle class like me. Also the university provides transportation and have other co curricular activities that was upto the mark.

The college should focus on the placement and training cell to provide more job opportunities to the students who are paying a huge amount of fees for their future. It is the responsibility of the college.

Admission:

The admission process in our depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination. After qualifying my higher secondary examination with 75 percent of marks, i took admission in this course. Students who cleared their 12 th standard from science stream was eligible to get admission.

Life at NIT MEGHALAYA

Remarks:

The college is good. But as it is in the temporary campus there are lots of hardships. But the faculties are good and they help as much as they can. But labs are small so not an ideal place to come for research works.

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. A detailed review on my college (St Anthony’s,Shillong):pros and cons

I applied into the university of agricultural sciences, Raichur. I got selected there and was invited for admission but I canceled my admission as it was too far away from my hometown. I got selected there for the degree of b.tech in agricultural engineering which I didn't really prefer too as I didn't want to persue b.tech. The admission process was pretty simple for my college as we only had to apply online though the college website and the merit was based on our 12th grade results. So I applied cuet and under cuet I applied for BHU and DU but I couldn't register for DU university registration because I didn't knew the last date. But I did applied in BHU but then cuet results were declared very late so I was not sure if I will get in BHU or not since DU was already out of my list .
