Remarks

Close to home, close to work, seemingly interesting approach to teaching, interesting content. was told they had an open mindset with regards to student's health, and would be willing to help them out.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Course/Curriculum- We were expected to read and write and exam for 6 plays in the 2nd Semester itself, and barely managed to complete 2. Bad management on part of the college. They also abruptly changed the course material at the starting of the first year.Timetable- Lunch is served in cafeteria from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. but many timetables don't have a free period then, and students often have to go without eating or have to ask faculty for 5 minute breaks to quickly have snacks.Faculty- Faculty is very, very limited. Professors often teach more than 2 subjects to the same batch. There are very few who actually seem interested in teaching, and most of the others neglect many other parts of their job (such as correcting and returning assignments, giving feedback, cooperating with fellow faculty in case the students are going to be/are late)Infrastructure- Though this is a sprawling campus (which the uni is very proud of), there have been many times students have been told that there is a shortage of classrooms and faculty (see above).

Placement Experience

1.5

So far, no information has been given about mid-year internships for the course BA English Hons. Supposedly, placements are good and consistent according to faculty. Have heard nothing from alumni or faculty about conducting fairs.

College Events

2.5

Many activities are supposedly conducted, but my batch has not seen much mobilisation. Either this is due to professors not knowing, or lack of communication between disciplines. Participation is encouraged, and if there isn't enthusiastic response, professors often try to force students into participating, a few times saying they will give/take away credit.

Campus Life

2

WiFi- available to students, but very slow. Better to use data, but in most areas, network conectivity is very weak, even for the WiFi.Sports facilities- There are sports facilities, but not a lot of opportunity. Clubs/club meetings are held sparsly and students are told about them only after they happen, or too late. The gym is only reasonably accessible to hostelers because many day boarders cannot stay back and have 1 hour+ journeys to get home (university is located about 45mins away from the main Gurugram region)Library- very, very small library. Strange system of keeping all bags/laptops/phones outside the library which are easily, and often, stolen

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are available for the students in the final year, and the university provides support through internships, training sessions, and placement drives. Various companies, law firms and corporate organisations visit the campus for recruitment. The average package is moderate depends on the student's skills, academic performance , and internship experience. My plan after completing the LL.B course is to pursue an LL.M. to specialise in my area of interest and further strengthen my legal knowledge and career prospects.

Placement Experience:

As the program has been approved by CoA and puts emphasis on modern software applications such as BIM, our portfolios look fabilous. Moreover, the career office keeps helping us to enhance our CVs and improve the quality of our work. When i graduate, i won't be limited to basic drafting jobs. Graduates move into cool fields like urban planning, green building copnsulting, or real estate mangament. Having all those options on the table makes life way less stressful.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KR Mangalam University are decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus. The average package is around 3-5 LPA, with the highest going higher depending on skills. Around 60-70% of students get placed. After completing the course, i plan to improve my skills and aim for better job opportunities or higher studies

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
