Remarks

It promised a good infrastructure, facilities and placement at the end. During its counseling it showed my father a lot of benifits and promised to build a campus within 6 months. It also faked about facilities, support, infrastructure, it ranking among engineering colleges. I had no other option as it was close to my relative's house where I stayed during my course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course had irrelevant number of subjects and irrelevant subjects too. We had studied many subjects which were not relevant to engineering course and at the end we were left untouched to many of our core subjects. The college lacked faculties. It appointed the faculties from different expertise to handle subjects irrelevant to their experiences. same faculty took many papers. Due to these pressures many faculties left the college and we had to face empty lectures or many times we were introduced new panel of faculties in the mid of semester who also keft within 6 months or so. we lacked labs and instruments to do practicals. syllabus and requirements never matched

Internships Opportunities

I did internship at E&T department of CCL, Darbhanga House, Ranchi, Jharkhand. No stipened were given. The process to get an aproval from the college authority was very annoying and prolonged. They never suggested any internship to us. Moreover they delayed much in the process of giving the aproval.

Placement Experience

concentric, Byjus, vedantu, Genpact, Lido, Samadhan. There were no any technical core companies visiting our college. No alumni for B.Tech. No startup by my batchmates. Entrepreneur cell has very less reach to the companies.

College Events

we don't have any campus but yes we took part in several sports, skits, debate, college fest, festivities, seminars, and many more. we had fun even in these small buildings. For special days college provided us big arena to groom, bloom and boom

Fees and Financial Aid

Branch toppers who maintained a percentile got scholarships which started during admission as per their marks in class 12th. Those who got more tgan 70% in 12th was eligible for this scholarship with the condition if they maintain a percentile of top 10% in the class.

Campus Life

we never had any infrastructure. They run the college in 3 different buildings on rent. For sports we never gad any sport faculty or even a ground for practice. We just went on the ground, which took on rent by the college for 2 or 3 days to organise annual sports meet called sangathan, and performed there directly like a sport avatar.

Good for BCA without any tension and issues all things on time.

Likes

The college organizes great cultural events like the Navotsav fest during Durga Puja and the Roshni event for Diwali.
The faculty members are genuinely approachable, friendly by nature, and always ready to help students with their academic problems.
The campus infrastructure is quite good and provides a very decent environment for students to study and hang out.

Dislikes

The curriculum focuses a bit too much on theory; the college needs to prioritize providing more practical, industry-relevant knowledge.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, campus placements are quite low, and I don't think we can easily get placed directly from the college. Barely 40% of the students (or even fewer) get placed through the campus drives. However, if students practice coding and upskill on their own, they can secure off-campus placements by their second year. Because of the limited BCA placements, my personal plan is to pursue an MCA degree right after graduation.

Honest Review

Likes

At the starting phase of college , we have a beautiful campus (which is not ours actually , its on rent ) loacted at Namkum, Ranchi. known as JUT campus, but after that things are not good.
Some what I liked the sports culture, but we don't have any sports Club yet.

Dislikes

Placements(actually there are students who are the coordinators for the placement group , there is no any particular advisor or any TPO head is there earlier...now there is one TPO coordinator but things are becoming worst there.
No grounds for any sports, we don't have badminton court indoors, so we have to wait for wind to settle before we can play outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)

I like my college

Likes

I like their rules and regulation of college.
I like the annual sports, event, and cultural program.
Regular classes, labs, and time to time internal exams

Dislikes

Thing that I don't like is hostal cleaning, mesh food.
I think there is more rules and regulation for senior boys hostels.
From senior boys hostel they pass some comment to the girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the proper mindset from the class I chose to study btech. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum are more labs to be conducted proper smart classes to be held.

Likes

Environment of the college was good for girls
This was only women's University so there was no girls to boys ratio
In first structure was not so good as ladies toilet was not clean and good

Dislikes

No placement was there core companies never come
Faculties were not at all good and they are not at all cooperative
No life facilities was their special for science students

As it was the course and curriculum designed by government so course and curriculum was good areas of improvement should be infrastructure and lab practical methods should be improved specially for vocab vocational courses

Likes

the greenery of college campus is very nice
the environment of the college is very good
college library staffs are very well behaved

Dislikes

the faculty is not up to the mark , u will not be satisfied by their teaching
student intake is very very less so you will experience less competition
the college campus is beautiful yet very small

Placement Experience:

yes campus placement is offered . the average package is about 7 to 8 lakhs in C.S.E , the placement rate is about 90% for which above 7.5 CGPA is required . The placement rate for E.C.E and E.E.E are also decent .

College and my life as different aspects

Likes

The cleaness and the professor of the college and the campus
College has provided different uniform for the different departments
All departments have their own class and building all the labs are provided their for practical

Dislikes

College didn't have a proper regulation for all departments
College didn't conduct class every day or it didn't have a proper schedule and students are also not interested in classes
I think college have to provide scholarship for all categories and same for all the departments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor of the college aree well qualified but the regulations are very low the teaching process is good but the classes are not continuous and the students are not interested their are very less department which hav their proper schedule and in my major paper class are only proper but the AEC papers and minor paper never conducts a single class for students

Academics and faculties and professors ..
The classroom .. and SGD classes .. and our academic building

Dislikes

Lack of water filter instead we have to pay for water
Lack of canteen ( common ) for boys and girls
Lack of coordination between different departments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current mode of our curriculum is CBME based that is competency based which has lessen the quantity of syllabus of mbbs course . This made the work of professors easy and the we as a students easily understand any topic and is easy for us in exam too .

Best nature of the faculties and their nature is also very humble
Laboratory were too good and much more space
Class were also very very good and hygienic neat and clean

Dislikes

Canteen food was not bad but their amount should be very shorter
Parking area is small but manageable to park the vehicle

Placement Experience:

Many students were selected in the placements in the last year good good companies were offering and the best thing is to be the college were very helpful regarding to the students placement some companies like Casper pharma etc their pay scale should is to approx 2lakh per annum.

Experience of an undergrad

Likes

college have great environment good facilities needed as per requirements ,college also have good spacious hostels and we can say better food comparing to what i heard from friends of different colleges ,the evening time is soothing and relaxing
a great senior junior interaction culture and memorable friendships letting you forget the world outside the campus, every festivals are celebrated with joy and fun ,from leaving a family to moving to another one you would love.
some of lectures are quite boring but some will amaze you with visionary thoughts ,every faculty will guide you if they see you lagging behind the course ,some extra sessions are also conducted, introducing new fields to think out of the box

Dislikes

things which i wish might get some improvements are sports facilities big grounds for sports activities students encouragement towards co-curricular activitiy, co-curricular activities get more support to come out with glorious and imagining skills.
fests do contain fun but due to time constraints before fests planning of amazing activities becomes difficult thus leading same things going on repeating, absence of good team leaders leading activities plays major role in activity failure and bored
night out time is a small problem, the area close to college is developing hence not having nearby much places for fun and chillouts spending your free time relaxing.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is average as during 2023-24 it was recession period all over the colleges are facing placements lags but still college students managed to achieve 22 lakhs+ off campus as well as 16 lakhs on campus placement.The college reached his highest placement of 51 lakh during 2023 ,the average package is 5-6 lakh and the placements percentage are 85 percent for cse students,the students completing 7th semester are eligible for on campus placement drive as well as off campus,some of the prominent companies visited are Microsoft, cognizant, samsung, byjus,infosys and 50 more.I will prepare for gate and after that i will try to get on and off campus placements which i will find better accept the offer.

I choose this course because I'm interested in this that why I choose. All teachers and faculty members are PhD holder. Teacher are very good in behaviour and teaching. Exam are held timely accordingly to your semester.

Amity University Jharkhand is an esteemed University and one of the best private colleges in Jharkhand. People often think that just because taking admission in Amity is easy, so survival would not be that difficult. But Amity is much more than just fancy campus. Attendance above 75% is mandatory and hence students can't bunk classes and can actually learn something. Getting grades is also quite a difficult task in Amity. One has to put in quite a lot of efforts. Amity provides various opportunities to students to enhance their interpersonal skills and become more confident in life. Students get to learn foreign languages which is also plus point. Amitians get a chance to study one whole semester in any of the Amity campuses in the world. That's such a great opportunity for the students. I think one should rather study in a college which is the best private university than studying in a college whose not even known. There are obviously pros and cons to everything. But that doesn't mean Amity is a bad college.
