For better future for better life settlement for better graduation Mahatma Gandhi University, one of the major Universities in Kerala, is a premier educational institution that strives to fulfill the higher educational needs of the people of Central Kerala. Set on the sprawling 110-acre Priyadarsini Hills Campus at Athirampuzha, 13 km off Kottayam, the University also has two satellite campuses in Kottayam. The University was established on 2nd October 1983 and has jurisdiction over the revenue districts of Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and parts of Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha. The University conducts a range of programmes at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, M Phil and Doctoral levels through its 17 University Departments, 1 International and Inter-University Centre, 7 Inter-University Centres, 10 Inter School Centres, 77 Govt./Aided Affiliated Colleges including10 Autonomous Colleges (of which 8 are Colleges with Potential for Excellence), 200 Unaided Affiliated Colleges and 273 Recognized Research Centres. I am going to college from my home. The college provided college bus to my my near boarding point which is near to my home. So i not select hostels. I personally fell home is more comfort than hostel. its my personal opinion

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free
Lot of plants are trees are situated in the campus
The campus maintain the rules and regulations of the campus

Dislikes

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

The college campus is not that much big and it's fine for us. There is taking new building and the working is still processing.

The raging issue have in our college. And I don't really like that thing in our college.There may seniors get suspension because of it sometimes it's get serious that their parents will come. Its ok if the raging is for some fun and just asking but i
There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

Better hygeine , clean and peaceful surronding for a student to study.
Extra curricular activities: like sports , arts , quiz competition , cme programs are held for better purpose

No proper campus for relaxation and extra time after college.

The curriculum we follow is cbme and they provide with us a better competitive areas and competancy based learning. We have feild works and community works than the collge areas . Will let the student to think out of the frame . My experience about my college

Likes

Smart class room is super and magnificent
Wifi availability is inside the campus and fast connection
International level infrastructure drinking water availability

Dislikes

No better placements, very poor placement services
Experienced staffs is less and very few teachers is good
No regular bus service in to college and is very poor

I like electrical and electronics so i choose this course. The curriculum prepares me well in the field. Need Improve in internship field. Need improvement in friendly teaching. Exams are coming so fast we don't get much time for relaxation.. Exams is simple.

Our college is one of the best self financing college in Kerala. Our college is situated at Golden hills of vattapara. Our college comprises of about under graduation courses and post graduation courses on eight departments.
