Remarks

I think this college is better than other college. And it is near to us. I find it easy to go to this college. And my friends had also got admission in this college. This college had got A grade in its teaching and other programs. It is the best college near our surroundings. All the people had good opinion about oru college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is very good and clean. Our college has good teaching staffs.I think this college is better than other college. And it is near to us. I find it easy to go to this college. And my friends had also got admission in this college. This college had got A grade in its teaching and other programs. It is the best college near our surroundings. All the people had good opinion about oru college.

Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

College Events

I dont really experience a lot.The college life that I expect dont come true. I expect more freedom in college as compared to schools. But I think school is better than this. There are many activities but most of students are not taking part in it.

Campus Life

Our college includes gym, canteen and other sports facilities. And a big liabrary of thousands of books for all department students. And a wide ground for playing cricket, football or any other games. And had also a basket ball court.

Experiences so far

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course

Experience at MBCET

Likes

The campus is well maintained and is clean
Teachers are willing to give individual attention if needed
Above average food is provided in canteen

Dislikes

Lack of campus life as college is strict
Majority of the staff members are the type to hold a grudge against you
Spoon feeding students and not allowing them to think and improvise accordingly

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from semester 6 onwards. But campus placement for civil engineering is fairly low. But companies like Aarbee Structures Pvt Ltd has offered jobs for my mates

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

The library got my attention since it has alot of books and its the centre of attraction of the college

Dislikes

The college doesn't provide any placements and job opportunities
The college doesn't provide any pool options for swimming lessons
Teachers get changed every now and then this makes the continuity of the lessons very hard

Course Curriculum Overview:

The social service got my eyes on this course. The intention of creating the mentality of helping others by social service made me join the course. This course provides a great service towards the betterment of future and people in it.

About my second dunia.

This college has a good winning percentage in B. Com, Ba. Economics, Ba. English, History, etc.. courses. This college is clean and the ambiance is very approachable. The semester fee is comparatively less to other colleges, and the facilities are maintaining a good standard like AC computer lab, AC auditorium, AC conference hall, fully equipped science lab's, etc. This college promotes sports students and has a good physical education department and the largest ground on which both cricket and football can play at a time. Good transportation facility because it is so near to the national highway. Has a good library which consists of more than 10, 000+ books and has a good canteen facility....Read More
