My college review

I only applied to this college because I wanted to witness the Spring Fest ,which is one of the most famous fest throughout the region of north-east India.I am looking forward to perform during this fest next year for which I am thrilled . For students who scored 70% and above in their HSSLC exams ae given admission without any interviews or entrance exam .For the students that scored below 70 undergoes an interview with the Vice Principal after which a decision is made whether the student will be give admission or not ....Read More

The reason why i chosed St. Joseph's College, Kohima have got many reasons, out of which some are, the college have got awesome students where even students from other states also studies here. I applied for NIELIT, Kohima and St Joseph's College, Jakhama. I had a keen interest in computers and so I wanted to take a course on computer but since I did not take maths in my higher secondary I could not take B.Sc(Computer Science) major so I applied for Computer Application instead in NIELIT and just incase I didn't get selected I applied for Economics major in St Joseph's. But soon during the time of admission I had a dilemma between choosing Computer Application and Economics. Since CA couldn't provide the education like CS i eventually came to the conclusion on choosing Economics. The admission for my college (St Joseph's College, Jakhama) accepts only the students with first division in their Higher Secondary result. And after which they recruit the students based on first come first basis, since it is a catholic institute they provide better opportunities to catholic students. After approval there is an interview with the Principal or the vice principal, and if they are satisfied we get selected. I chose St Joseph's College because by far it is one of the most reputed college in Nagaland with A+ grade college. Apart from St Joseph's College, I applied in Patkai college and Tetso college but St Joseph's College was my first priority. I got selected in all the colleges but since St Joseph's was my first priority I chose this College. The admission process is first come first basis but students with 60+ percentage gets direct admission with below that are in the waiting list. Since we don't have many college's in our state that provides the BBA course i tried only in 2 college and luckily i got in both of the college. I chose sjc because it is one of the best renowned college in nagaland and a dream college for most of the students. More than 7000 students apply in thsi college and only the lucky 3000 get seat in our college.
