So at last I got in conclusion that this is the best college so you must take the admission in this college of for your future placements in different companies.

CUSAT exam i gave, i got 4125 rank , this is the government college and the placements of this college is far better than others private college.

Course Curriculum Overview

This is the best college and the education process and workshop and lab is far better than others private engineering colleges , here a lots of research is doing everyday in every field ,they provide good education about my field all the students in this are well disciplined so i thought course research and education process is good.

Internships Opportunities

This is the best government college and the placements of this college is far better than others colleges highest package of college is 1,00,000 fir marine engineering student and average package of other branches is about 1500000.

Placement Experience

Most of the company came here for students selection for jobs like tech mahindra, tata motors, tata consultancy services Pvt LTD, snapdeal , Flipkart, oracles and others multi national companies came here for students selection and offers great package to the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college is so less than and then comparison to the other engineering colleges with in general private Engineering College have fish about to 2.5 lacs per year but in this college per year fees is about 50000 so this is the best government college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Including both North Indian and South India A student should the fee structure is very less but those parents do not able to pay the fees of the students they can take the loan at very low interest and college also helps to provide scholarship for Poor students about 50% in all the sectors of office they also provide all the sports material in free for Poor Students.

All the seniors in this college of very helpful to us what are the profits on the proverb the basic needs of our education of the students have any problem in the education and they come to the student and teach the students also provides good education and towards their parents and teacher.

Exam Structure

So this is the best college, so , examination pattern is so tough students have to do labor hard to pass the examination wheatear it is internal or external examination or semester examination, each semester include two internal examination which is conducted by the subjects teacher and semester examination by university.

Admission

Firstly i got cat rank then cusat give particular date for counseling according to my rank but i did not get any branch in this counseling so i decided to attend the spot round counseling then i get my favorite branch electronics and communication in this college.

Faculty

So , earlier i discuss that this is the good government college so faculty of this college is also far better than other engineering colleges, faculty thought in English , Hindifor those students who came from North India and also thought in mallayalam for those students who is came from Kerala state.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

Likes

College was at a beautiful place. It was not a city but a beautiful place.
Hostel was great. I got many friends from there.
These are the only things that I can think of.

Dislikes

Teachers, they are horrible one one teacher named aparna was professional and ethical. My HOD was the worst.
Principal is the worst. She does not hear students side. She is money minded. I had a fee pending for not more than 2 week. When I went to her for signing my medical report she demanded that she will sign only after I paid that fee
The college does not encourage extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

College at the heart of kuttanad

The university is very much reputed when compared to other universities. It was my great wish from childhood onwards to study under Cochin University. The conducts an examination named CUSAT CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) every year. Students can attend the computer-based test and ranklist will be published in the university website afterwards. Students with top ranks will be allotted. The overall admission procedure through 3 allotments and followed by spot allotment for which the student should be present at the university in the exact date and time informed by the officials.
