There are a lot of festivals celebrated annually at Chandigarh University CU fest is the main festival celebrated on campus Life in the college is good There are many clubs which are used by students for entertainment like music and dance, for innovation like building mechanical cars, structure. - The main festival of CU is CU FEST which is awesome. Life in University is So Good
Course Curriculum Overview
The daily routine is very scheduled and properly conducted by CU management. Timing of exams and Assignments is provided by the University on CUIMS. -Our teachers have faith and follow this motto, "I hope your Education lands you the affairs of your dreams". Teaches us to do our best, to explore more and more. We believe in experience because experience is the best teacher of all things. -Experience can be felt not to say but if out of 10 I would give a 9 for my overall experience and it is the best of my life.
Placement Experience
CU provides a number of opportunities to the students to show their caliber in internships and placements as well. CU also organizes various seminars by different companies for the students where they can learn new technologies and get aware of the technologies. Top companies hire many students from CU. Some of the companies are Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Wipro, Amazon, TCS, etc. The average salary offered ranges between INR 5-7 LPA and the highest package offered is 31 LPA.
College Events
84,000 rupees is the hostel fee for a year. Outside of the University, PG's are available but it is safe inside the university. They also provide good and tasty food. CU provides the best teaching facilities and best education, they just recently introduced the blackboard system e-learning in a crisis of COVID 19 for better education.
Admission
There is no mandatory exam for admission. I got admission by booking my seat for the course. The eligibility criteria for admission is that the student should score a minimum of 60% in their 12th class.
