Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women - [MRECW], B.Tech, Electronics & Communication Engineering

Reviewed on Dec 6, 2020(Enrolled 2018)

Remarks

Peaceful Environment,Placements with high packages,Supportive faculty,Events conducted by the college are really helpful,Providing trainings with the updated technology and also they provide us CRT trainings with highly qualified teachers from institutions like FACE,TALENTIO etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very much fine.As you are entering into core branches the subjects will differ for different streams. Our college also provides an open-elective subject, where students can opt a subject for the following semester. The teaching will be really good as they explain us with the practical examples and also we have labs to visualise the outputs of the electronic circuits and also for programming skills.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Recently EPAM has conducted a exam, which it is giving a free training program for one year to shortlisted candidates.Currently, the EPAM training is going on.

Placement Experience

The placement companies are huge because ours is an autonomous institution. The companies like Capgemini,DXC,Accenture,IBM,Cisco,Cognizant,Amazon,Delloitte and so on.The package usually starts from 5lpa and goes upto 14lpa.

College Events

We have annual fest in the month of march, here they will give prizes to academic toppers by congratulating them and the chief guest will come like playback singers or movie her0/heroines.The books and journals are of huge number. You can come anytime and you can take them, and you have to return/update the book for every 15 days. Our college always motivates the students to perform and to be active in academics, sports, extracurricular activities. To know about ourself, our college also provides personality developments and motivational speeches.

Campus Life

Our campus infrastructure is really pleasant and peaceful. We also have our college wifi, which is super fast to browse and only used for work purpose. We also have gym,and a very big playground. The library is very useful for everyone,it has daily newspapers of all languages and magazines and a huge number of subject-related books, story books, personality development, books related to competetive exams. And we have labs that are with good equipments, and there will be no shortage of any single equipment and also we have C-lab,Communication lab for english, which is very useful to eliminate the fear of public speaking and stage fear.We also have a big auditorium, where 5000 people can accomodate.

Admission

The only criteria to get into our college is based on EAMCET rank.

Good college for getting a degree

Likes

Things I liked is our is around 40+ years old so the academic structure is well established but old fashioned
As it is Bachelor of engineering our college degree is good for higher studies like masters
Faculty are some what better compared to other colleges

Dislikes

No proper scope of physical education and sports
Attendance is considered very strictly and
Facilities in campus like proper sports equipment is not available for all games

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem to 8th sem campus placement gonna takes place there are many MNCs and startups visited for hiring like accenture etc and has highest package around 20 lakhs and avg package around 5lahks placement percentage is very good we can also do masters after degree

my college have good hospital facility but it lacks patients and the college infrastructure is good comparing to other college
the college have a strict uniform rule for all other courses there are different type of colour uniform

My college experience inOUCE

Likes

One thing I like about this college is how the environment, good weather as there are many trees and garden to seat and have some fun.
The next I like about the college is about our faculty and the infrastructure.there are amazing teacher to explain the some of the toughest subjects ,lab are too good .
If some like to prepare for some other examinations like gate, civils .we have lot of free time to prepare for all other exams

Dislikes

Even though we have a good ground, there are many people in the ground who would distrub u ,these people come here for jogging and playing different sports and but they are not from our college
Wifi is not good the signal strength in our college is not good and we don't get good internet even from the mobile networks too.this is more irritating many times.
As it is open campus many vehicles would be passing and many unknown people would there around.we just have only one technical synopsis,as many private colleges have more than one fest.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good, many of my friends have placed but I haven't placed yet and I am searching for the job ,and I have been applying for the placements and I have been for interview in some of them and not selected for the job.

Main thing is patient load is good so you will learn more
Hands on opportunity for pgs to do lscs is high ,so we will become very good at lscs surgery

Dislikes

Work load is high so you need to sacrifice your sleep in duties .shift time to sleep will be less
Hospital is less hygienic, mainly basic investigation like CBP lft and RFT pt inr will be done at any time

Course Curriculum Overview:

My internship at osmania medical College made me understand that I will like obgy. Mbbs students will do 6 weeks of internship in obgy department. We will learn how to perform deliveries and do episiotomies and suture them. Pg in obgy from osmania will be good enough to face the real world but mainly we learn obstetrics. For gyneacology surgeries we have less exposure. We will get opportunity to assist in total abdominal hysterectomy in final year few times (around 2 to 3 times) Exam will be in final year and most of pgs will pass the exam
