Remarks

College is average some of the Management members are good and very helpful and some play politics. but in whole they are supportive.

Entrance Preview

I wanted to study in my hometown only HCST was the top engineering college there so I Chose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

As it is affiliated to UPTU,the curriculum was more theory oriented as compared to practical approach. Also most of the course content is outdated, which is not good to cope up with the technological advancement in the market.

Internships Opportunities

No the college does not provide any internship but in summers there is a paid in house training which is organised by the college every year for students of 2nd and 3rd year.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements & job opportunities are same as other Tier-3 colleges. Training and placement department really works good to pull the companies for campus placement.only students have to show some efforts, then they can easily be placed. Also the Training and Development Department works hard to make students employable.

College Events

3.5

Some of the Events celebrated in college are good like Technical fest, and Annual Techno Cultural Fest. Everyone works well in collaborative manner and everyone celebrates with full enthusiasm several colleges also participate in it,celebrities also come sometimes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not good. Fee is very high as compared to the education imparted to the students. Fee should be less as the infrastructure as well as the quality of education does not match with the fee structure. Management should look into this as it can be helpful for economically backward students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such scholarship available there may be any scholarship for the students who score more than 90% in board exams, apart from this there is no such scholarship.

Campus Life

2

Campus life is average. At the end of the day students make the college life not the college itself. Most of the students are indiscipline and they destroy the ambience of the college. sports facilities are not good. only basketball is focused no other game is given much importance.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel food is not at all good also the hostel rooms. the hostel is constructed in a very congested way. There is no proper ventilation at the floors, and the facilities are also not good, that's why most of the students leave the hostel after first year.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good every year alumni meet is organised to improve the alumni network. Alumni can connect with the other students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good, and is not hectic at all labs are very poor and curriculum is not at all lab oriented the practical knowledge gained from labs are not more than 10% College needs to focus on this area if they want to increase the placement count.

Faculty

2.5

Some of the faculties are good some of the faculties are average apart from this there is too much of politics within the teachers and departments. Some want to overpower the others. As far as teaching is concerned some really taught well, but for internal marks they don't do any relaxation, even in final semester.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
